Phenomenal
The nine holes at The Point are the best I have ever played and I have been golfing for 30 years. Every hole breathtaking views and picture perfect. Gets better and better as you work your way to the tip of the land. Needed help from the coastguard in the tower to find the fifth tee such is the mad layout of this course. Every golfer needs to play here. To top it off the other 18 holesare also in great condition and keep the interest up after the stunning point. Add to this friendly people and lovely food in the clubhouse and you'll be wantBig to move to north wales .

Out of this world!!
If you visit North Wales and are playing golf Nefyn is a must. Split into three nines, the Front, the Point and the New i would recommend you play the front and the point - the views are to die for and the golf challenge spectacular. The front (yellow) nine give you a taste of what is to come on the point nine. There are 6 par threes on this course but this does not distract from the challenge. Excellent greens and the fairways were in good condition, this nine takes you from the club house to the coast and veers left along the coast, if your golf is poor just appreciate the views. If the wind is up this course will be a challenge for the best golfer. So onto the back nine, the point nine, full of challenge and surprise. Take the 10th, 200yds of fairway then a blind 2nd shot up and over a 100 ft. cliff wow! Follow this with a par three over the sea, followed by an optical illusion on the SI1 that challenges you to cut the corner and drop into the sea!! And then the highlight, teeing off from the top of an old lighthouse onto a par 3 green wow wow wow! This course was thoroughly enjoyed by every single golfer in our party from start to finish, if the wind is up the challenge is on, the final 2 holes test your accuracy with OOB one side the sea the other. This course is a must for any golfer. The only minor point i can raise is that the back 9 (point) is open to the public and a public footpath so have your wits about you. Nice friendly clubhouse with staff to match - would i go back - you bet!!Reviewer Rating

Fabulous course - a must play
Played here on Sunday 14th July and what a great golf club and course. The friendliness of all of the staff and members was amazing. We had a quick bite to eat before playing (bacon and mushroom bap) which was excellent. We played a couple of holes behind a junior competition (good to see a club encouraging junior golfers) and we were not held up at all - we were round in 3 and a bit hours.
The course was in great condition with the greens being quick and true - an absolute pleasure to play. The only very minor criticism would be the lack of signage for the next tee on some holes. But this was very minor and did not in any way distract from our enjoyment of the course.
Overall this course should be at the top of your list for your golf holiday to the Llyn Peninsula.

Course of dramatic beauty, not to be missed
The location is unique, the holes carved in the Peninsula for the old 9 holes are great. The views are breathtaking. Only downside were the greens being slow and only average. Highly recommended.Reviewer Rating

The front 9 is in great condition, nice plush fairways, great greens, well positioned bunkers, brilliant layout.
The point is brilliant fun, very much unlike anywhere Ive ever played seeing as you play on the peninsula.
My one and only qualm with the course is the greens are different on the point to the rest of the course, still undulating but not quite the same quality.
Its still an absolute must to play and gets a solid 9/10, worth the 2 and a half hour drive without a doubt
