Fantastic Course

Absolutely stunning course. Challenging but not enough to make you frustrated. Incredibly windy at times but that’s all part of the fun. Ty Coch pub also fantastic place to stop mid round.

Fantastic front nine. The new back nine, whilst decent, does not have the same visual impact. Also myself and fellow players thought the greens on the new back nine were slower than the front. That said, the course was in great condition for late March.

What an absolute gem

WOW ...... we were lucky to have had great weather and a fairly quite golf course with our 9.30am tee time. An absolutely stunning golf course with equally stunning vista's. Can't speak highly enough of this course which includes both the "point" as your back nine or other configuration but the point really does leave you in awe of the spectacular scenery and quirky layout of the holes. Only criticism is more against fellow golfers not bothering to repair pitch marks which on alot of the greens were everywhere. Such a shame that the greenkeepers put so much pride into this course but some golfers don't repay it with showing some respect for them and the course itself. Cant wait to return and return and return.....

Fantastic views

The views on the Old course are simply amazing. Fortunate to have sunshine and no wind but cannot imagine what it would be like to play in bad weather. Teeing off from a Coastguard tower doesn't happen everyday! The paths were really busy with beach goers so had to be careful teeing off, and one walker picked up one of our balls! The Front 9 was more like a goal course, again with some great views. Very enjoyable.

One of my favourite venues

Played 27 holes in breezy but good conditions. Course in very good condition for the time of year. First visit for over 12 years - thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Phenomenal

The nine holes at The Point are the best I have ever played and I have been golfing for 30 years. Every hole breathtaking views and picture perfect. Gets better and better as you work your way to the tip of the land. Needed help from the coastguard in the tower to find the fifth tee such is the mad layout of this course. Every golfer needs to play here. To top it off the other 18 holes
are also in great condition and keep the interest up after the stunning point. Add to this friendly people and lovely food in the clubhouse and you'll be wantBig to move to north wales .

Out of this world!!

If you visit North Wales and are playing golf Nefyn is a must. Split into three nines, the Front, the Point and the New i would recommend you play the front and the point - the views are to die for and the golf challenge spectacular. The front (yellow) nine give you a taste of what is to come on the point nine. There are 6 par threes on this course but this does not distract from the challenge. Excellent greens and the fairways were in good condition, this nine takes you from the club house to the coast and veers left along the coast, if your golf is poor just appreciate the views. If the wind is up this course will be a challenge for the best golfer. So onto the back nine, the point nine, full of challenge and surprise. Take the 10th, 200yds of fairway then a blind 2nd shot up and over a 100 ft. cliff wow! Follow this with a par three over the sea, followed by an optical illusion on the SI1 that challenges you to cut the corner and drop into the sea!! And then the highlight, teeing off from the top of an old lighthouse onto a par 3 green wow wow wow! This course was thoroughly enjoyed by every single golfer in our party from start to finish, if the wind is up the challenge is on, the final 2 holes test your accuracy with OOB one side the sea the other. This course is a must for any golfer. The only minor point i can raise is that the back 9 (point) is open to the public and a public footpath so have your wits about you. Nice friendly clubhouse with staff to match - would i go back - you bet!!
