An enjoyable round only spoilt by the poor state of the greens

Looks nice but the undulating fairways can ruin a good drive. At present the greens are at best patchy and the spiking hasnt helped the way they play. Have paid more to play on worse than this, so all in all a fair day out.

A rather plain "up and down" course which is probably not well drained. But pleasant enough and well presented. A cheerful and helpful pro.
I thought that the catering was poor, surley, miserable and no cask ale! Time for a change perhaps? Fortunately the next village has two pubs, one of which, the Marquis of Granby was really good in every respect.

Good course that you come off in a good mood no matter how you play. A fair course with a few tough holes and some holes that allow you to score.

Not for me!

Fantastic range and separate practice facilities - 20 ball for £1 ????

Course is short and uninteresting tbh, greens in good condition but really slow. Very nice people but golf course is fairly boring.

Sorry

£20 for Sunday lunchtime round.
Greens were fast and course was in good condition.
Has a fast road close by that creates a lot of noise.

Unfortunately, we went when a number of the greens were temporary and some sanded. The course is well maintained by a group of about 20 members. The real greens were very good as were the fairways. A pleasant course which medium handicappers could score fairly well on. Pricey compared with some pay and play courses unless you use Groupon, in which case it is very good value for money at half price. Strong sense of member ownership.

Testing round in blustery conditions. Pays not to be over-ambitious off the tee and keeping the ball in-bounds.

A fair test for most high handicappers like myself, i do find the layout slightly laborious with several long and straight par fours offering little in the way of variety. However the greens generally tend to be in good condition apart from the fustratingly familiar winter greens on the front nine. The course is easy walking and flat throughout, it does have a un-manned drinks hut at the start of the back nine which is normally welcome relief. Well worth playing however in general lacks variety a those one or two signature holes.

Not the longest course in the world but never the less still a good test, short par 3 with the pond at side of green although it's only a short iron, can be quite tricky, there's a few dykes & ditches on several holes you have to be carefull of they run across fairways on some holes & paralel on others, I find this course better played in good wether as it tends to get quite boggy in wet conditions.

Nice course!

A nice layout. The course was in very good condition. Unfortunately very windy conditions made it a lot tougher.
