A great course to play, and always seems to be in superb condition - even after terrible weather. Fantastic views over Pendle too, well worth a visit.

With not having the time to become a member at a particular club, I look for club-quality pay-and-play courses. Marsden Park has been by far the best experience for the money. The greens are quick but soft, the fairways are in great condition, even after all the rain we have had recently and the course provides a real challenge with well-placed streams and trees but there's plenty if fairway to aim at for the higher-handicappers and game-improvers who can't drive straight every time!

And on top of all that, the views are stunning which tops off a very enjoyable round of golf! I would choose this course over any muni courses in the area!

Course Still in excellent condition. Greens and course still fairly dry. Course does tend to swallow balls- or maybe thats just me!

Wow, what a wonderful public course. Greens in my opinion best i have seen in a long while, fast, but receives a ball very well with good pitch marks.
16 and 17 are very challenging holes.
Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed
Bar was shut by the time we finished, so head to the Shooters arms for a well earned drink and more stunning views of Pendle Hill..

Excellent for a municiple course, well maintained and quite challenging for beginners. Lot of money spent on drainage, now paying dividends. Warning though there are some steep hills.

Interesting course, not too long but with several 'cardiac hills' to climb - very steep in places but this adds to the challenge of judging shots accurately. Not many bunkers but hills and strong winds are biggest challenge. Greens are very hard and surprisingly fast.

Great Course, undulating and with well positioned hazards. Greens are VERY firm, quite hard to land on even after a torrential downpour should have softened them up. Staff are very friendly and highly recommend the spicy wedges!! Sub £15 for a round and only £5 to hire a Powerkaddy trolley (also highly recommended) There are some fairly big hills on the course!
Definitely want to play it again when I get a chance
