Great value friendly and welcoming
Played here on a Sunday morning - fairly quiet and no hold ups. Course in good condition despite recent rain and the greens were excellent. Back 9 is hilly but well worth the effort. Very friendly and welcoming club - members and staff alike, including and especially the bar staff! Highly recommended and excellent value.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant and challenging course.
This course is excellent in all areas, very friendly staff, good prices for green fees and food. The food itself is very good quality. The course is always in good condition with good drainage, it is very challenging in a unique way which you'll find when visiting. I would highly recommend this course.Reviewer Rating

Weather warm and dry without any wind, unusual for this course, Greens immaculate, excellent condition for a municipal golf course.

Fantastic well kept course. However if you're not fit please don't play here as its like climbing Mount Everest. Had a great game here, it's a beautiful course.

Played the course recently and after a lot of rain and combined with the time of the year the course was in great condition! Greens were fantastic and rolled very true. Course still looked good and nicely manicured. All for only £13.00- bargain!

A great course to play, and always seems to be in superb condition - even after terrible weather. Fantastic views over Pendle too, well worth a visit.

With not having the time to become a member at a particular club, I look for club-quality pay-and-play courses. Marsden Park has been by far the best experience for the money. The greens are quick but soft, the fairways are in great condition, even after all the rain we have had recently and the course provides a real challenge with well-placed streams and trees but there's plenty if fairway to aim at for the higher-handicappers and game-improvers who can't drive straight every time!
And on top of all that, the views are stunning which tops off a very enjoyable round of golf! I would choose this course over any muni courses in the area!
