The course is now back in good condition, the fairways are in good shape and the greens are back to being true and consistent.

Well kept municipal
Ground staff put a lot of work in to keep this course in shape. Quite forgiving and great for beginners and players new to golf. Short back 9 except the troublesome 15th! Overall good course that I've played a few times now.Reviewer Rating

Municipal worth a visit

Good course considering the price. Yardage is a bit on the short side, but perfect If you're relatively new to the game. Some challenging holes and kept in fairly good condition throughout

"The Home Of Golf" as it is affectionately known, my local municipal, the course was in excellent condition, especially the greens, well done the green-keepers.
My only gripe was the price £15.80 for Tuesday morning, which is the same price as weekend, I find this a bit odd, as in my opinion will not encourage pay

Good challenging course, with a couple of holes that can give you a fright and can add a few unwanted strokes to your score. Two of the greens were holding water, but overall a well kept course.
