Heaton park ???????

Yet again membership left out in the cold by all , for the second year running the course has shut down without so much as a note on the door .

Unfortunately, possibly due to the recent weather conditions, the course is not in good condition. The back nine in particular has issues with the fairways being in poor condition and the greens had not been cut , making putting a struggle. Hopefully with some dry spells the course can be brought back to it's usual good condition. To make matters worse there were two or three groups that were extremely slow and holding up play

Municipal Course

Expensive for what it is, winter greens pretty rough will try again in summer to see whether it plays better

Municipal park course, fairly basic winter greens very poor, quite expensive for what it is found Castle Hawk just down the road a much better overall package

Just reopened

This course has just reopened under new management not in the best of conditions at the moment but I think it will improve over time

Major TLC required !

I've played this course man & boy and yesterday the course was in the worst condition I've every played it, which was a shame as I was looking forward to playing it. I appreciate we've had a hot summer, and has clearly suffered as result, a lot of the greens were devoid of grass.

Poor greens

I started my golfing life on here but so sad to see it deteriorate with very poor greens

Whilst being a 'Members course' it is also a municipal pay and play course. Sadly some of the Marland members think they own the course and regularly play in a 'five-some' which delays following players and is aggravating for the more sporting players. Telling-offs don't seem to work.
