Challenging
It's a very well kept course, fairways are green and lush, greens are very well kept, true and quick , if u don't hills this isn't the course for you, it makes u think and is very challenging.Reviewer Rating

Friendly welcome
Played twice since lockdown restrictions lifted, as a visitor. Very welcoming and how golf courses will survive (please take note those courses 'closed' to all visitors. Course in great condition, as tough as ever!Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course
Have often thought about playing here and now I have done it I am not disappointed in any way. The course is exceptionally well maintained, a real challenge and most certainly a pleasure to play. The layout is superb and really is a test for any golfer. The staff were very friendly and helpful and club shop really good. I cannot wait to play here again...excellent for the excercise as a very hilly course which makes this such a great course to play...highly recommend!Reviewer Rating

Fantastic place
Friendly guy in pro shop to welcome to us course.Tasty bacon cob pre- golf.

if your a large person, don't bother.. it'll kill you... Mapperley is on my doorstep.. and good for workout... challenging course.. will play when there's the deals on... food deals excellent.. take my girls there for dinner

good course today, played cropped for a few holes but wouldn't be gold for me if I didn't get a 7,8 or dreadfully a 10... big on course. joining when price right

Bang on allowed us to play back nine first at 8am as. They had a senior comp on, bargain at 15quid. Lovely course, played a few times as live round the corner. Need to do some better deals on membership though. Good staff in shop.

Great course tees and greens like carpets some interesting holes especially the two par 5s would definitely recommend this course just beware of the hills (round played 31 October 2014)

gota good eal, did get there before shop opened but ok as memebers just get started, nip before if you have an early round and pick some cards up, great course, 2 minutes walk from my home. love it

Took a society of 20 to play here on Thursday 13th March. What a great day.
Fairways and greens were in superb condition, especially following a rain soaked winter. The course has plenty of character as it weaves its way up, down and around the local hillsides. Not an easy course, but very enjoyable. Highlights for me were the views experienced as you play the 12th & 13th, par 5's. All members of my society left the club happily impressed. Many thanks to the all the staff at the club especially Tim & David who looked after us very well. Personal triumph Handicap 15 Score 84

First time here, was warned by others this course is a challenge!!! And it was. This course was in A1 condition on the day, tees were level and like carpets, good to see tee bins and ball cleaners on every hole, the fairways were very well maintained and the greens were lightening fast. Great course will be back again this coming summer.

Had a really enjoyable round on this fantastic course.
Played mid week on a Groupon, so for £12.50 per person was an amazing price.
Virtually every hole has some elevation change and it tests your game as you don't often get a flat lie with the ball level with you feet.
Some fantastic views of the surrounding area.
The course was in fastastic condition, particularly when you consider the recent weather. The greens were in great condition and probably are some of the fastest greenes I have played on in winter.
Everyone was very friendly at the club.
I will definately want to go back and better my score now I know my way around.

First visit to the course, and I have to say what a fantastic setting. The course was in superb condition and was very clean, with tee bins provided at every hole. Greens were a little bumpy in areas but I am not complaining. Overall a fantastic course and I was very pleased with my score as I had been told to expect a tough round.
