Last played at this tough course four years ago and it continues to impress. Interesting, challenging holes undulating through lovely countryside. Fairways and greens immaculate, unforgiving if you miss the fairways by a long way. Great that you can play a course of this quality for under £20.

Fantastic golf course, and played for an extremely reasonable ?20 on a Friday afternoon. If you can get that kind of deal, then there is no reason not to play at this great course. It has to be one of the biggest areas of land devoted to a golf course that I have ever seen and, when put together with great fairways and greens, this is one of my favourite courses in the region.

Excellent condition and nice people. Course was very brutal for us high handicappers due to national ameteur comp being player the week before and fairways being narrow and rough being very rough ,pro said fareways will back to normal width next week.

Played for the first time last week and was thoroughly impressed. It's a real challenge and the layout keeps you interested from start to finish. Even though it was November, the greens were in great condition. I'd love to play it off the white tees in the summer as I imagine it's a beast. I particularly liked the par 3's and the finish (15-18) is a tough as I've played in Manchester. Highly recommended. Excellent food as well by the way.

Unbelievable value at £20 on teeofftimes website for a Sunday afternoon. Fantastic course in great condition, was a little damp in places but tees and fairways were first class. Greens were receptive, but fast and true with many undulations. Welcome in the pro shop warm and friendly. Great course, well worth a visit.

A really good course & club
A great experience. A really good course & club. Received a warm welcome. Practise putting area very good also. Course looks great, and a great golf challenge. Greens were excellent.Food in the clubhouse highly recommended. All in all a great day out and one we will repeat.
