Course was in good condition and the rough had been cut back so was easily playable out of it , forward tees so the real test of the course wasn't really there , paid ?40 which I think was too pricey , the course will no doubt play a lot longer and more difficult in the summer

Awesome course
Second visit to Manchester, made me appreciate even more what a good course this is. Really tests your game. Great mix of holes, challenging par 3s, elevation changes, some tough bunkering and great views and in great condition. Can be expensive in summer, but ?40 for visitors in winter on proper greens/tees was a bargain.Reviewer Rating

Wow what a course
8 of us played on bank holiday Monday ( day after captains day ) can't fault the course in any way ( greens as good as I have ever played) . All I can say is thanks ????Reviewer Rating

Must play North West course.
Played for the first time 8/12. Very impressed. Despite the recent bad weather the course held up well, some winter greens but most were ok. Can't wait to return in the summer, excellent layout, well bunkered and a real mix of holes.Reviewer Rating

Great course to play, as usual
Have played here for last 3 years in one of there open events and as usual well organised and great value. Always friendly welcome in pro shop and clubhouse. Good food. Course in excellent condition despite recent rains. Greens true and fairly quick. Course is a good walk but well worth it. Some great par 3s which could easily wreck a good round. Will be returning next year for sure.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 78 Handicap: 6.2)

Always like to play Hopwood, great course in great condition. In my opinion, it's the best course in Manchester, if not Greater Manchester.

Last played at this tough course four years ago and it continues to impress. Interesting, challenging holes undulating through lovely countryside. Fairways and greens immaculate, unforgiving if you miss the fairways by a long way. Great that you can play a course of this quality for under £20.

Fantastic golf course, and played for an extremely reasonable ?20 on a Friday afternoon. If you can get that kind of deal, then there is no reason not to play at this great course. It has to be one of the biggest areas of land devoted to a golf course that I have ever seen and, when put together with great fairways and greens, this is one of my favourite courses in the region.

Great course
Played in the Senior medal of the clubs Festival week. The course was in excellent condition, the greens were frighteningly fast. Every hole has different challenge, plenty of risk and reward. Everyone at the club was very friendly and welcoming. A must to play if you’re in the area.Reviewer Rating

A really good course & club
A great experience. A really good course & club. Received a warm welcome. Practise putting area very good also. Course looks great, and a great golf challenge. Greens were excellent.Food in the clubhouse highly recommended. All in all a great day out and one we will repeat.
