Always like to play Hopwood, great course in great condition. In my opinion, it's the best course in Manchester, if not Greater Manchester.

An absolute belter. Everything about this course is fantastic from the tee boxes, the greens, and probably most of all the layout. Not one of these courses that is on a small piece of land, covers some acre-age and it feels like every hole stands alone. Undulating in parts but not a deterrent. Some good par 3s as well. Bit more expensive than your usual £20 but worth it as a treat. Go on, you won't be disappointed. All of our society enjoyed it, even those who didn't play well. Good facilities too, 2 chipping greens with bunkers and a driving range as well.

Played this course during their festival week in an open event. Well organised it was too. Friendly welcome given by staff and members. Excellent practice facilities, well stocked pro shop. Course in excellent conditions, greens true, not too fast. Well spread out course over a vast area. Some very testing holes especially couple of the par 3s at 190yds plus. Need to keep straight to score well as some very unforgiving rough stuff. Great food to boot. Will be returning again for sure.

Played in Mid April as part of a 4 ball. The first time we have played here (although I've had lessons with Scott here)
The course is so spread out and you don't get that feeling at other clubs that fellow golfers are on top of you.
Every hole requires good course management and sometimes you have to leave the big stick in the bag!!
The greens were quick considering it was mid April and when they start to grow the roll and bounce will be true and even.
We paid £56 for a 4 ball which is exceptional value. Come and play this course, it's one of the best in the Manchester area.

Found the course challenging but a fair test ! Greens were quick and true. Hilly so gives the legs a good stretch. Some fantastic holes which include the par 3 16th ! Will be returning

Last played at this tough course four years ago and it continues to impress. Interesting, challenging holes undulating through lovely countryside. Fairways and greens immaculate, unforgiving if you miss the fairways by a long way. Great that you can play a course of this quality for under £20.
