Very poor greens on this occasion. Had played a public course just a few days before and the greens in much better condition.

Course in great condition
Course is in great condition, we had a week of wet weather last week and the course has drained and taken it well.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 87 Handicap: 14.7)

Tough front nine on this interesting parkland course
Malden is an interesting layout that makes great use of the space and natural features to produce a very tough front nine. You can make a score on the back nine with 3 reachable par 5s but it is an overall tough test for your game. Greens were smooth and true and fairly quick when played in August. The rough doesn't appear long but can be penal. The one criticism is the inconsistency of the bunkers. When good, they are lovely to play out of, with just the right amount of soft sand. Bu some holes need their bunkers upgraded, particularly the tough long par 4 8th hole. The narrowest green on the course has two dirt bunkers either side. It is an easy fix to solve this issue.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 76 Handicap: 3.1)

course in great condition
this is my home course and is in great condition at the moment. always deciviing, front 9 not the interesting of the 2 but harder, need to make it up on the way back(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 13.4)

In Great Shape
After playing here in the winter and finding the greens to be in bad shape, I was very pleasantly surprised at their fabulous condition now. Fairways were beautiful, as well.Reviewer Rating

Malden golf club
Excellent and best greens i have putt on for many years.It felt like a rather a short course with 4 par 3s but it was summer and ball rolling well on fairways

Great course close to London!
For years this course has been on my doorstep without me knowing! A fantastic golf course very handily located from London. They only usually allow visitors during quieter periods, but they managed to sneak us on late on a Saturday morning. Green fees are punchy, but for the quality of the course it's still value for money. The par 5's are a bit on the short side, but generally the layout is very interesting.
