Disappointing condition
This could be a good course however: the bunkers have no sand, the tees need cutting as its like playing out of the semi rough, some of the tees are huge but you are given a 5ft strip to tee off from?! The first 3 holes are permanently waterlogged and to be honest, I wouldn't play it again.Reviewer Rating

Course condition spoilt by the bunkers.
The course itself was in good condition, it's a great shame that the bunkers were in such very poor state. Little or no sand, and when there was it was rock hard, guess it hadn't been raked for many days. I know that you're not supposed to visit them, but when you do because the ball runs a long way,you expect the sand to be in much better state.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 105 Handicap: 24.8)

Very enjoyable place to play golf.
I live about an hour and fifteen minutes from this course and don't know why it has slipped my notice until now. Having played it once I returned within a fortnight to play again. Both times the experience was very good, conditions were great, course layout was excellent and the welcome from staff and members was brilliant. Worth checking out if you like parkland layouts,Reviewer Rating

I believe 20 days in a month would be acceptable for competitions and the leftovers be allocated to pay and play with booked tee times....the later in the day you get the cheaper the fee if light may become an issue.
The club should also offer twilight fees for late afternoon/evening games where bad light may not allow the full 18 holes.
Local rules should adopt a single player does have standing on the course and if quicker should be allowed through...members in groups do not seem to allow it!
Local rules should also state that in non-competition events then whoever is ready plays...i see far to many golfers waiting for their mate to play!
More benches should be placed on the tee boxes.
