Avoid during the winter

Played the course (well part of it anyway) in late January. Was advised the course was playable but gave up after 12 holes as the greens were waterlogged and the fairways in places were very muddy. The greens are not up to much during the summer and during the winter are even worse. The weather was dire to be fair, but I was not even offered a free round or parital refund when I told the staff I was giving up due to the course being unplayable.

The long approach drive is littered with pot holes and the car park is muddy. The driving range is ok and the practice greens/bunker are reasonable. The clubhouse/snack bar is welcoming and has good selection of hot drinks and snacks.

The course is a decent challenge and longer than many par 3 courses, but not in as good condition or as enjoyable as other local par 3 options.

If I'd been offered a free round I may have visited again, but as it stands I will probably not bother this season.

I had never been to this course before. 18 hole par 3 course but its very well laid out with some holes over 150 yards in length.
Well worth a visit for practising your shorter game.

Have not played this course for some time and in the meantime it has had some maintainence done on it. Found it well maintained with some nice elevated greens. It was a really cold day but very sunny. This is a Par 3 course and it was lovely to refine my short game.
A small cafe for after golf snack - beautiful homemade soup and cheese scone.
Will play here again.

The entrance road is pot-hole ridden and would benefit from some investment, but after negotiating that things definitely improve. The par 3 course has a nice range of hole distances, from 65 to 145 yards. The greens are cleverly landscaped, close cut and undulating. There are several bunkers, which are well maintained. Water hazards are in play on a handful of holes, (especially the new 11th over a big pond). All in all, an interesting course to play. Very friendly and helpful staff. The on site café has a limited menu, but the food is of very good quality. There\'s no pro shop, which is perhaps a missed business opportunity. Its a pity there\'s no regular Medals, as the course would be well suited to competitive golf. Overall - excellent value for money and an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon.

Interesting par 3 course. Good value

We chose pensioners day for the £8 round. Played it once before and got beginners luck. Not this time. Not easy to get a par on this par 3 18 holer but good fun!

Cracking little par 3 18 holer

Really enjoyed playing here (and played well) on this little 18 hole par 3 course. Friendly reception and very reasonable course fee. Would play again.

Love this par 3, excellent as a beginner getting used to hitting a longer distance. Some challenging holes including the brilliant hole 11. Only thing is no card payments, literally the only thing to mark it down on. A peaceful, hidden gem.
