Its a course that is very forgiving and flat. On top of a hill next to Bath Race course.

Golf society day. We were made very welcome. We paid £33 for breakfast a round and lunch. Great value.

This is a Harry Colt designed course and is certainly a test for all golfers. The course requires a straight hitter with out of bounds on most holes. The course is kept to a high standard and is rarely closed due to weather. An excellent clubhouse with friendly staff.

Nice tidy we'll run golf course.not the best golf course I've played but nowhere near the worst

A fairly exposed, very flat, parkland course up on top of Lansdown hill but disappointingly not many fews of the surrounding country side... plenty of the racecourse though.
I found it fairly uninspiring though without any real memorable holes. The par 4's vary tremendously in length, some are there for the taking others are a real challenge to get to (or near) the green in regulation especially playing into the wind.

Just played my first round of golf as a new full member. Im around a 25 handicap and found the course great. Straight shots mainly require and the course is easy walking. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Cant wait to play it regularly. Throughly glad ive joined as I was made to feel very welcome by the golf manager, staff and othet club memebers. A very good all round and friendly golf club.
