Lovely Club and Course - Shame about the Weather
Played the Langdon and Bulphan courses, really nicely laid out. The storms that hit Essex had left the course in places a bit sodden and it was a pleasant surprise to have trolleys but it was a relief. Today the wind was at least 20mph so very challenging. The overall feel for the courses from the 6 guys playing was it was challenging but acheivable, despite the elements. We came on a £27.50 midweek deal with a breakfast which was fatastic and the staff were great thank you LHGC.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 97 Handicap: 19.2)

Great parkland course
Excellent golf course, 3 nine hole golf courses. We played the Langdon and the Bulphan. Definitely a course to think around rather than hit and hope, I wouldn’t say it was a course for beginners more intermediate players. The facilities onsite are great the clubhouse is large with a great bar and food. The only downside is the club shop is very limited.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.4)

Very nice course in good condition, although, greens were a little woolly and slow but all they need are a cut and roll and they would be lovely.
Not the longest course you will play, but with plenty of doglegs you will need to hit it straight and use plenty of course management.

Interesting course with 3x9s. Excellent value £21 on Easter Monday. Course is very nice condition and firm considering heavy rain day before. Greens could be cut more.

A very well kept golf course fairways and greens in fantastic condition.If you keep it on the fairway you should score well,unlike me who had one of those days where nothing went right. Greens can be a little bit tricky you need to chip and putt well,you have three sets of nine holes to choose from and if you book it on line and go on a Tuesday or Thursday you get a 38% saving and pay £13.00 instead of £21.00 which is fantastic value. I will definatley be going back.

Always a pleasure to play this course, it's great from tee to green, with some interesting holes, only one bit of criticism bunkers not great lacking sand & most of them hard dirt, didn't spoil our round at all, clubhouse good with good food & friendly staff & members.

Haven't played Langdon in a few years but was worth going back. Still well kept. Very busy at weekends even though the green fees have gone up. Greens must have been cored recently, not quite recovered but they were pretty quick.

Great course. I will be back again.
Lovely little course. Very open and forgiven so great for novice golfers but still challenging enough to offer a challenge to more experienced golfers. Course was very wet today but that couldn’t be helped based on the weather conditions.Reviewer Rating

charity day . hole in one
played in a charity event on a very hot day , course was in excellent condition. some great holes , greens were true , staff were great , tee boxes a little rough but hey,a great day , some brilliant golf and raised a lot for a good cause .
an added bonus in which my brother in law got a hole in one in the nearest to pin comp .
will definitely return

There?s nothing really to say about this course, it's excellent from tee boxes to greens all in exceptional condition considering all the rain we've had lately, shout out to green staff. Clubhouse staff all friendly & food good. I've only one very small critique, breakfast is stopped at 11am, so early tee off times can't make it in time for a full English, but having said that they still do sausage or bacon sandwichesReviewer Rating

Great
Considering the amount of rain we have had recently, and the distinct lack of sun, the course has held up really well. The greens in particular run very true and fairly quick. There aren't any silly par 3?s as all require a full shot. ( believe the shortest is 140yds off yellow tees). Will be interesting in summer as some of the par 5? s should be reachable in 2 with hard ground and favourable wind. All in all a very nice course.Reviewer Rating
