3 ball round lots of tricky holes but some of them are ok windy course but would play again

Played this course due to my own course closed through snow. Quite blustery day, but usually is here being right on the estuary. Very scenic course with a few decent holes. Few of them quite close to each other. Fairly open course with few water hazards knocking about. Greens in good condition for time of year. Not too hilly but a good walk around. Check out the "Sunday Offer" for February, £10 a round incls bacon butty. Great clubhouse, friendly members. Will be back for sure.

Excellent value for money as a twilight visitor for £15.
The course is fairly open, and the rough is not punishing. There is space to miss the fairway on the left for most of the front nine, but the back nine is tighter due to the water hazards.
Around the green was cut short making chipping fairly easy.
Greens were true, fairly flat and a medium speed.

A great seaside links course which ouses character from the 1st to the 18th. Catering is top-notch too. The course is very playable for all levels providing you engage your brain before you strike the ball.

Good course but not at it's best
Played Knott End in one of there opens, Usual friendly welcome in pro shop and clubhouse. Disappointed to find out that still on winter tees and winter rules (mats on fairways or semi rough) especially as course was dry and tee boxes ready for use the following day. Course layout good, great views to be had. Greens a little bumpy and slow. Still an enjoyable round overall, not too hilly so nice walk round.Reviewer Rating
