Not great
Over priced for the condition of the course.Greens bumpy and slow.
Too many tees too close to other holes.
Nearly got struck by ball from.another hole whilst standing on tee the group that hit the ball never even knew there was a tee, very dangerous

Poor
Awful lay out.Unplayable in summer with dry sloping fairways.
Too many tees in hidden and very close to other holes.

Cramped
Very cramped course with tees and greens too close.Few ridiculous slopes on fairways which make it impossible to play when ground is firm in summer.
Overpriced for what it is.

This is such a dreadful course it was built on farm land with the top soil taken out which makes the drainage so poor \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\It is short and sweet. If you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

As usual poor drainage, adverse weather really affects this club,,greens only any good between lateJune through till August (imo).
Club house food is good as is the ambience.

A bad time to play
We played here last weekend (March 22) the temporary tee boxes were uneven and very muddy, lots of the course was muddy and waterlogged. There was also a few greens that had been returfed that weren't really playable and should have been closed. Despite all this, the course is well laid out with a nice clubhouse and I?d definitely come back in the summer. Definitely not a great winter/early spring course though.Reviewer Rating

One of my favourite courses
In winter Kettering do a cheap tee time and a Meal Deal which is very competitive.The food and variety is excellent as is their clubhouse. However yesterday was one of the most disappointing rounds we have had there as only 5 greens were open and all the rest were temporary after the frost and snow then rain. I only wish that when clubs go to temporary greens they put the bigger cups in for the flagsticks as putting on a fairway is difficult

There is definitely a left hander bias to this course as several par 4's reward blocks/fades with a lost ball or hazard. There are a couple of excellent Par 3's and reachable par 4's for the bigger hitters. Dog-legged holes suit the lower handicap shot shapers.
