Very wet but still enjoyed it, Pro and bar staff very friendly they run a loyalty card so will visit again later in the year

Played this last Sunday. It's wet but then so are the other Preston courses at the moment. We played on normal green (not temps) and did not have to use mats on the fairways so all in all we though it fair value for the money.

I played the course on Saturday, The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, The pro took time to explain the course is wet and in winter condition, the manager came over to us and explained this as well, he also offer me a free round in August as the course would not present value in this state, they were right we played 9 holes and it was just too wet, we returned to the clubhouse and had a fantastic breakfast and received 2 free golfing vouchers. Anyone who knows about golf will understand when a course is unplayable, the staff here explained this to us but where still kind enough to let us play. I will defiantly play here again and would like to thank the staff at Ingol for a refreshing and friendly attitude, I recommend the course and the club as exceptional value for money and feel saddened that other golfers have been so unkind with some comments.

Without doubt the worst course I've ever played. Inadequate or non existent signage. Greens that you would concrete over if they were in your own garden. Fairways resembled a badly maintained farmers field. It's advertised on Teeofftimes at the moment for £4 and isn't worth it at that price. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Awful. No bins around the course, no 150 markers, awful signage around the course. Some holes are literally the same fairway with two greens either side. No food in the club house, nowhere to clean your shoes. Extremely poor excuse of a golf course, do not waste your time or money, joke of a place.

This 'golf course' caused me to delete Groupon and never use it again. I played it in Sept 16 but looking through some of the reviews above I feel compelled to review this dreadful 'course' .They cannot honestly claim this to resemble anything like a golf course, if you like golf, avoid this like the plague. The staff were very friendly and the food was nice. The design is appalling, the greens shambolic and ive seen farmyards in better nick than some of the holes here. Disgraceful

Not amazing course, but amazing value for money. Was after heavy rainfall so would need to play again in the summer

It was wet but great value for money, we travel to lots of courses and with the food this has to be one of the best offers. Course is in fair condition and there is a walk between some of the holes. Worst hole is the 13th, best hole the 16th. Clubhouse very friendly so will vist again.

Lots of potential but sad to say very poorly kept. Lots of holes shortened due to the new houses for "safety reasons".Seem to walk miles from the green to the next tee on some holes.Grass was long all over the course and the greens were shocking. If a large amout of money was spent on this course it could be decent as there are some good holes potentially. On the plus side the staff were great and the food good value for money.

Course a little wet but understandable due to the weather we've had, no worse than some of the other local courses I've played.
Greens improved since last time I played, pleasant day out and great value for money. Staff always accommodating and helpful.
Look forward to our next visit.

The worst coarse i have ever played i could even find my ball on the fairway the grass was so long and the greens hardly had any grass on them just a mud pit first and last time i will play there

Hope the owners are successful in creating a great amenity for the local people. We played the course on a groupon voucher with a breakfast and it was a real bargain. The course does need some work to bring it up to standard but it is a very enjoyable test that makes you think. The staff are great and helped to contribute to a great day out. Good luck for the future Ingol!

Very boggy and poorly kept.. tee boxes not the best and some greens a bit patchy. Some tough holes but enjoyed the back 9. Decent value for money tho at £11

golf course in reasonable nic for time of year, clubhouse staff all very friendly, food very good and for value for money cant be beaten. we will visit again using the loyalty card we were given but will let the season get well underway so the course will be more fun to play

The course is in need of alot of care. The greens are uneven, have weeds on them and wet. It was difficult to putt. There were rough patches and bare mud patches on the fairways. The yardage on the holes was off by aloyt. One par three advertised as 150 yds from the yellow tee was only 120 yds! Hence a 7-iron flew well over the green. It is a confusing course with shared and crisscrossing fairways, and needing to cross main roads and bridle paths. It was not a plaesant game.

Course wet (but expected due to the torrid weather we've had).
Interesting layout, challenging but fair is probably the best way to describe it, for the money they're charging you can't knock it, Golf Pro handed me a loyalty card where you can play two rounds and get the third free so will definitely be coming back, at the minute it's about getting about for some fresh air with the guys i play with, looking forward to playing it again through the season.

fair condition for this time of year, played 9 holes twice as the rest were closed, staff all helpful and friendly, pro upgraded me to a sunday lunch for no extra charge so enjoyed that as well, stayed and watched the football with the members who told me to come and play in the summers, I intend to do just that, thanks Ingol GC

Played this course about for or 5 times now and have felt on some of the previous games that the course is not very well maintained but after playing yesterday it seems as if they are making more of an effort to get it back up to a good standard.

played the course on a fine sunny morning all the fairways in good reasonable condition for time of year, greens ok but for one or two that still need some attention,only bad point is where the 11,12 and 13 fairways cross making it awkward when busy otherwise if you want a good value for money round its worth a go. round played: Oct 2015 - Score: 88 Handicap: 22.8)
