Just been there with my grandson to try the course prior to possibly joining. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. I was given to understand that the course was in the process of being rebuilt after several years of closure, and to this end I was willing to give it lots of leeway. However there is little sign of progress. Firstly I think the priority on any course should be the greens. These however were in a terrible state. Bare in parts badly cut and worm casts all over them. On one green when my ball landed on it instead of rolling forward, it took a bounce sideways. The fairways were in an equally poor state, as for the tees, they were not cut, or if they were, not short enough. My grandson was awfully disappointed. We will not be returning in the foreseeable future.

i no that they have been open for long and there is still alot of work to do nut the tees wer like trying to tea off in a cow field the fairways were like the 1st cut of rough and before we teed off we got told the greens were 90% ready and all of the green were in terrible condition with mud all over them and there was no way you could read them. will not be goin back there until they improve the course wich i think is about a year off becoming playable.

Played 29/07/13, Course only been open a couple of months after 3 yrs closed. Lots of work to be done yet to get it in a decent condition. Greens are just plain awful - very patchy and bobbly, and difficult to putt on. Fairways need cutting well = far too long. Tee boxes all need lots of work. Course signage and hole markers very poor.
It will once again be a great course when ready - but its a long way off just yet.

Hope the owners are successful in creating a great amenity for the local people. We played the course on a groupon voucher with a breakfast and it was a real bargain. The course does need some work to bring it up to standard but it is a very enjoyable test that makes you think. The staff are great and helped to contribute to a great day out. Good luck for the future Ingol!

Played here quite a bit this year and have to say the course and club represent excellent value and yes some of the greens need a bit more time but if the rate of progress continues then this interesting and challenging course will soon be in excellent condition

I wasn't going to review the course but was so impressed by the progress made l felt l had to. I'm a ex Golf pro and have played all over the world, this course is the best value for money I've played, fairways well cut and wide, rough all consistant in height and cut to the edge of the complete hole, bunkers well kept although some need sand, tees well mown with the exception of two which need top dressing and the greens are totally acceptable for a parkland course. I shot 71 and enjoyed it

Played today with my golf society of 24, all enjoyed the course clubhouse and the whole day, a couple of greens have patches and there is evidence of some clover on the fairways which are thought nicely cut and forgiving, the best thing about this club is how they make visitors feel totally welcome right from the moment you walk in, other more established clubs should take note. We will definitely play here again

This is not a golf course it's a joke and the attitude of the people running it is a joke.
We booked our society trip here months ago and we promised a full 18 hole golf course and what we got was 8 terrible holes and we had to compete with their winter league final for tee slots.
Don't even consider going here

Went here a couple of weeks ago, I don't know if they will ever get things right again, certainly not by 2014. what a shame, this used to be such a good course. I was surprised to find that it is now more like farm land than a golf course. One of the employees told me the course was 90% ready and would be at medal standard next year, I don't think so. I think he was giving the company line rather a heart felt opinion! In any case I won't be going back.

I played the course on Saturday, The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, The pro took time to explain the course is wet and in winter condition, the manager came over to us and explained this as well, he also offer me a free round in August as the course would not present value in this state, they were right we played 9 holes and it was just too wet, we returned to the clubhouse and had a fantastic breakfast and received 2 free golfing vouchers. Anyone who knows about golf will understand when a course is unplayable, the staff here explained this to us but where still kind enough to let us play. I will defiantly play here again and would like to thank the staff at Ingol for a refreshing and friendly attitude, I recommend the course and the club as exceptional value for money and feel saddened that other golfers have been so unkind with some comments.

It was wet but great value for money, we travel to lots of courses and with the food this has to be one of the best offers. Course is in fair condition and there is a walk between some of the holes. Worst hole is the 13th, best hole the 16th. Clubhouse very friendly so will vist again.
