Played as part of a large group. High quality course, spectacular scenery and very good playing conditions.
Excellent value as I would rate in the same bracket as most of the top courses at a fraction of the cost.

Interesting but forgiving
Course in great condition, all greens apart from one fast and true and fairways play like links. Rough is forgiving and you have to go really wrong to lose a ball. Interesting layout with a few blind shots, wind impacts shot selection.Reviewer Rating

Extremely friendly staff and locals
Played the new Jubilee course configuration (par 70) out of the 27 holes available, fairways and greens were in excellent condition, only the bunkers with poor sand quality letting the course down. The layout was eclectic and generous, but was made challenging by the strong winds. Beautiful views over the sea. A couple of indistinct holes particularly the sixth. I visited Hunley Hall with 3 mates for a weekend away 8th and 9th of August.
It is a fantastic place, highly recommended.
The course, practice facilities and hotel are all excellent.
The staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly.
The Course itself was in excellent nick, and with 4 different layouts from 27 holes it won't get boring.
We paid £77 for dinner (excellent food) bed and breakfast and 2 rounds of golf, brilliant value!
All in all we were all very impressed with everything there and will definitely be returning.
It is a fantastic place, highly recommended.

Stayed at the hotel for a golf break - fantastic. Good selection of holes make up 4 different courses which are all challenging. Clubhouse, staff, catering and hotel are all excellent. Highly recommended.

if you want to try some where new this is the place to go,the courses are amazing with some of the best holes ive ever played.the views are stunning especially from the morgans course.the hotel and bar staff are excellent and make you feel very welcome,and to top it all the food is simply wonderfull.

Difficult
This course is very challenging on the legs, with it's set up being uphill so you are walking uphill after every hole it seems. Would recommend but only if using a buggy! Lost 4 balls but found 10 as the rough is impossible to get out of and so hard to find your ball, even after hitting good tee shots down the middle somehow the ball filters into the rough due to the slope on the course. Brutal Rough !!
They need to buy a lawnmower and use it, brutal rough spolt what should have been an enjoyable round. Good course layout, really tricky greens with difficult pin placements for non members. Will not play again.Reviewer Rating

would need to come back in spring or summer as we played after weeks of rain and snow, so was lucky the course was open. Very very wet but greens played well
