Interesting new course
Holes were quite long and there was more sand than Yarmouth beach but it all served to make the course more interesting. The only thing to my mind that spoiled it were the number of plantains, many in the greens, that deflected putts if struck. A dose of selective weed killer badly needed. Nice clubhouse, good food at very reasonable prices(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 39)

Great value municipal course
I have played this course several times over 10years or so, but not since 2015,so was very pleased to see it had improved in the recent years. A very interesting and varied layout for high and low handicaps. Course has good fairways and apart from bunkers which are of variable quality, the course is very fair to play. Greens are quite large with many undulations which add to the interest of the play. Clubhouse and facilities have been improved also. A very good practice par 3 section behind the clubhouse All in all a very attractive option at pay and play prices.Reviewer Rating

Plays well despite rain
For a municipal course this plays very well year round and naturally drains well. A bit boggy but normal tees open in the middle of January!(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.1)

Super municipal course

Lovely Municiple Course
The only City Council owned golf course now in Leicester which is looked after very well and is in excellent condition. I would certainly recommend a visit soon.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 108 Handicap: 36)
