Weather was nice, very warm. Quite busy at the time of our round, fourball in front of our threeball and threeball behind.
Fourball in front called allowed us to play through on the par 3 7th.
Course was in very good condition but some greens were dry and some pitted from bad repair work. Some of the fairways, especially the 12th and 17th were overgrown and full of daisies.
On the whole though a very enjoyable experience.

I've played Hoylake many times and count this as my home course. Always in great condition and the staff are very welcoming.

early season can only get better few of the greens were a bit ropey

Course in reasonably good condition considering the atrocious weather. Greens have just been tyned and were a little bumpy. The rough is growing quickly with the semi thick enough to lose a ball if off line. Overall not a bad round considering terrible weather, hail, sleet, driving rain and high blustery winds!

Tough course with some long Par 4s the greens where playing a little slow today and a few challenging holes

Course in good condition. Greens good and true, fairways hard and fast. Tees could be better, more shifting of the tees would help. Good value.

colin b one of the worse municipal courses i ever played on greens are very poor every green poor not to standard at all facilities poor council needs to spend money or they are going to lose more golfers to other courses bunkers need to be addressed like hitting a ball of a piece of concrete due to a lack of sand being in them staff are great and very helpful and you could not ask more of them I for one will not be going back to play this course until such time that the council decide to spend some money they are quick enough to take your money

Course is very well maintained and a good course for the average golfer to play. The course to the more experienced golfer will find it flat and a bit repetitive, but on the whole still a nice course to play.

This course was closed for several days following the rain and has only just been reopened. Fairways still to dry out but greens receptive but still a bit bobbly.
