Millionaire's golf today teeing off at 10:30 with a member. Senior comp three or more holes ahead of us. A wide open course with lots of space and yet surprisingly difficult to score well. If I had stayed out of the water I would not have lost a ball today but would still have been penalised (and I was) for wayward shots. Greens a tad disappointing. Liked the clubhouse and lunch was good. Very well positioned just a mile from J19 M6 but take care on return to motorway as it didn't seem to be well signposted for a solo driver without sat nav.

Course in excellent condition, greens were exemplary. Friendly welcome and the food and drink were very good. Course is flat but some interesting holes. Not as many pylons as I remember. Will revisit.

Heyrose is the hidden gem of cheshire. Great greens
not to difficult wide fairways and not much trouble worth
every penny of the £20 too play.

The strengths of this course lie in its design rather than its condition. Every hole is different and has sometihng interesting/challenging about it - you really need to think your way round. Its not exactly in excellent condition but its definitely above average and the grees are decent.
Good practice facilities with a driving range, big practice green and a chipping/pitching area.
I wouldn't worry about the pylons - i've played it dozens of times and i've seen a ball hit the wires once in all that time.

I really enjoyed this course. It isn't too long and the fairways are quite generous. The greens were a bit slow but in good nick and ran true.

I played this course on arpil 28th 2013 and i have to say on reading one or two reviews on this site i was not looking forward to it ut as this was a soceity event i had to attend,let me make it clear THIS IS A FANTASTIC COURSE,superb condition and the greens are really challenging,the only critcism i would have is that the pylons do come into play on a few holes and i did indeed catch one or two,but that would not all all deter me from playing the course again,judge for yourself iam sure you would not be disapointed after your round,

Played the course last week and i have to say its in really bad state,the fairways are full of weeds and bunkers have no sand,the greens are running allover the place and your ball bobbles that much when you putt that it could end up anywhere other than where you want it,for the money they charge its quite disgusting,i would still be unhappy if they only charged £10 nevermind £26,ohh and theres that many pylons my dumps were green for 4 days,

the course is far to easy,massive fairways and quite afew drivable holes,the plus side is that its well maintained but if your looking for a challenge then this course is not for you,

Freezing cold and windy. Bacon sandwiches and tea at half way helped. Wide generous fairways, which I managed to avoid on a regular basis. Fast greens in good nick given the recent weather.

Course in excellent condition.
Greens were good, but suprisingly slow.
Annoyance at Green Keeper spraying as we went around and leaving a trail of golf ball sized white bubbles everywhere, making spotting errant shots more difficult and we seemed to follow him for 4 holes that meant we were constantly waiting.
Overall good experience and will definately return.

Went after two full days of rain but the course was in good shape will be going again as had a good day with a warm welcome .

One of the best courses I have played this year. Very interesting holes. Greens immaculate. A fantastic signature hole - par 3 16th. I will definately be returning!
