What the club says: Now over 20 years old the course is one of the most respected and established in Cheshire.
With recent investment of over half a million Heyrose is the most professionally maintained and managed course of it’s kind, our Course Manager, Steve Hartshorn is one of the most highly qualified in the industry ensuring the course is of the highest standard.
It has been adapted over recent years so it challenges the experienced and rewards the beginner. Set in tranquil parkland and full of wildlife this course cannot be beaten on quality. Unlike others it is playable in all but adverse conditions, with ancient woodland and water features this is a course to join and enjoy, don’t settle for the ordinary, experience Heyrose.

Well done

great course
Good long course with plenty of par 5's, greens were true and not that fast. 225yd par 3 16th from elevated tee is challenging. Love this course and will definitely play again.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course, greens are superb but rough is very unforgiving, lost ball every tIme. Great just keep it on the track.

Pleasantly suprised
Played Heyrose for the first time 2/8. Course was in good condition despite recent heavy rain. Other than a couple of decent holes (including the 235 yard par 3) the course is relatively flat and straight forward.Reviewer Rating

First time out on this track, very quiet, lovely country side course, no pressure. Very enjoyable round, will certainly return again.

Played Heyrose a few times this summer, it has matured very well over the last 30 years! My playing partner has a high handicap but both he and myself enjoy the challenge this course provides, highly recommend!

Absolute hell hole
Play ed this farmers field a few weeks back on a society day. Iv played a few bad courses in my time, but never have I played a course as bad as this, it’s staff want to be ashamed of them selves not only for allowing the course to be open but for the pathetic excuses they have replied with that their staff work extremely hard and the course was in ok condition. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy play this place on a freebie stay clear guys. FARMERS FIELD!!Reviewer Rating

played this course 29th April 2018,I don"t know what the policy for course closure is for this club? but losing balls on the fairway due to plugging and ankle deep mud on all holes just off the fairway has not left a favourable impression,after travelling 80 miles (round trip),it would have been courteous to have informed our party of 14 of conditions before setting off or offering a reduced Green Fee, clubs like this are constantly taking advantage of societies booking months in advance with no concessions when things go pear shaped.

Very wet, lying water on several holes and greens very wet also.Course in my opinion shouldn't have been open.

This is a great course with some exceptional holes. The greens are well kept and testing which will test your ability to read. The clubhouse is well set out and welcoming.

As a member of Heyrose GC, it is interesting to read the reviews of visitors.
Yes, the course is relatively flat, but non the less challenging.
Fairways are wide and invite you to open your shoulders and go for it, hit straight and you are ok, go offline and take your medicine. Playing Heyrose is a challenge, most holes test your long second shot.
The electric pylons seem to be a bone of contention. They actually only come into play on two holes.
Local Rule - a ball hitting wire shall be replayed without penalty! So, no problem there! Just make sure you follow the balls flight.
A number of ponds come into play around the course, so beware! As with most courses, course conditions are dependant on the time of year.
Come to Heyrose and enjoy the round??
