What the club says: The Herefordshire Golf Club was founded in 1896 after which the club moved to it's present location in 1932. This site was discovered by James Braid, who designed some of the country's best golf courses. Originally part of the Foxley Estate, this spectacular country course has previously drawn comparisons with Gleneagles thanks to its high quality fairways and greens and the gently undulating terrain, not to mention the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The Club provides comfortable changing, accommodation and an excellent clubhouse in which to wine and dine. Visitors are welcome and are assured of a friendly reception.

Beautiful course in lovely rural landscape. Course is fun and interesting to play with lots of variety, Every hole looks great from the tee, and the greens are very well located both visually and to play, with plenty of slopes requiring different shots and inviting you to use the contours to your advantage. Some tough long par 4s as well as some narrow ones and shorter ones requiring more accuracy - a bit of everything. Great views of the course and surrounds from the bar and balcony. A great day out!

A True Hidden Gem
I played here yesterday in the Seniors Open and I was blown away by the course! I would say that is as good, if not better than its lauded neighbour; The Rolls of Monmouth. The course was in terrific condition, especially considering the loooong hot summer we have experienced. Greens were true and quick and fairways were fair. The par 3 15th hole is outstanding and keeps you on your toes just as your mind starts to wander towards a cold beverage! Talking of sustenance the newly refurbished clubhouse is beautifully maintained and the food and drink were good value. I will definitely visit again.Reviewer Rating

The golf course was excellent due to its stunning scenery, well-maintained fairways, and challenging layout. The course conditions were top-notch, with lush grass and clear signage throughout. Views of the surrounding landscape added to the experience, making every round enjoyable regardless of score. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. Practice facilities were also impressive, allowing players to warm up properly before teeing off. Tricky course with some spectacular holes
The course is in very good condition, and all four of us enjoyed our round. The Halfway House provided a welcome break, and a form of 19th hole is provided through the pro shop window.I wish I lived closer!

Even emergencies cateck to do just those last 3red for
Had an eventful round !Weather scorching so 1/2 way being open wad a godsend si special thanks to the lovely lady running it.
One of our group took I'll on 16th so Adam came to his rescue carting him back to base so BIG thanks !
Not sure he can go back to finish those last 3 holes !!

A very enjoyable challenge
Turned up on a busy day but was able to get out thanks to a welcoming pro and friendly members who let us out ahead of them. The course was understandably wet but all greens were in play and winter tees were fine. The course is really enjoyable. Every hole was different with some significant contour changes throughout and some amazing views as a result. It's not an easy walk but it flows nicely and is a fair challenge. went to the herefordshire with a society of 17 other players and found the course in great condition the club house was great and good carvery lunch. the shop well stocked and the staff welcoming. altogether a pleasurable day
