First time I have played this course for many years and I found the course to be in excellent shape. I remembered to keep my driver in the bag as much as possible and to keep the ball in play. Weather was more than passable and I had a great day.

The course is in excellent condition. The greens have not yet been top dressed as like other courses in Aberdeen. A great course.

Course was better than I thought. Greens were well kept and well kept. The course was busy with 3 and 4s playing but in spite of that we did not get held up.

A very good course all round. Relatively quiet, excellent value, course in good condition and most importantly its not full of snobby golf people. If you want a decent round for a good price in Aberdeen where you will feel very comfortable this is the place to go. Very pleasant scenery as well!

Nice to be back
As one gets older, you are less able to exert as much energy as is sometimes needed to play 18 holes of golf and so I was happy that the Pines course was quiet when I arrived to play yesterday at 1.21pm. The fairways and greens were in good condition considering that even here in Aberdeen we had had a lot of sun and very little rain for some time. I was able to play at my pace and was also pleasantly surprised when I caught up with a husband and wife who suggested that I play through as they might hold me up.Reviewer Rating

This was my first visit for a year and I was impressed with the condition of the course especially the greens. There are quite a few wet patches in the rough especially under trees but that is not surprising considering the amount of rain we have had recently. The new booking arrangements are also working well but there was a suggestion from one player that someone had sneaked on at the second hole perhaps without a booking.
