Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: Hazlehead offers three picturesque courses and a pitch and putt course. Our Premier Championship is arguably one of the best in the North East, if not in Scotland and was designed by Alistair McKenzie. The Pines golf course has a more open aspect than No.1 and its beautiful setting is perhaps more suitable for higher handicap players. The 9 Hole Course has wide fairways and a marked absence of rough, making it the perfect starting point for the enthusiastic beginner

hazlehead pinesplayed and was disappointed, the fairways were cut but the cuttings left on them, poor, often had to search for ball even on the fairway slow play too
Well looked after course. Perfect for beginners as it's quite open
Good wee course
Avoid this courseShockingly poor condition even though it is a municipal course. Save your money; go elsewhere.

Little gem in AberdeenUnfortunately the No 1 course was closed but No 2 is a challenging parkland course to warm up. Well maintained.

Good course. With the closure of the McKenzie Championship course, I expected the Pines to,be busy especially on a beautiful afternoon but in fCt there were very few people about when I teed off at 1.40pm. The course is in very good condition with the fairways well maintained and the greens running true.
I always enjoy playing this course and perhaps it will now achieve the recognition it didn?t get when the other big course was open.
Challenging BalnagaskPlenty of blind shots on this course. The main challenge is that it is very hilly and stance is always awkward. Nice fast green.
