First time links course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Weather was great so didn't have tough conditions but still course is very different to what I'm used to. Some blind tee shots and thus you can sometimes not appreciate the width of the course. Be careful of the bunkers as they are testing.

Played the course in a Pro Am event on quite a calm day for such an exposed course. Lovely course and challenging, even when the wind is fairly light. You need to play this course a few times to know the right places to put the ball from the tees and on approach to the greens.

What a great golf course!!!! Hit the ball straight and you be out off trouble. Quiet few holes has blind drive and some blind shots but needed good course management at this course. The greens are very fast and good putting skills are needed. I've fallen in love with this course. The best 40 quid I spend on a golf course (county card weekend). The staff were friendly, members were friendly and the clubhouse has a very nice view from the balcony. Look forward to coming back.

What a great course. The first few holes are fairly flat but you then get into the dunes and the course really comes into its own. I really liked holes 3,8,9,10,13

Having grown up as a member here and as a regular visitor still to this day I can happily say Hayling is currently in first class condition. Not a course for the beginner and, frankly, a waste of £60 if you're not up to standard, it's a course which makes no apologies for being proper, rugged links golf at its best. Having known the club to go through a stage in the 90's of buying into the whole philosophy of target style greens it's great to see it back to its former running glory.

Turned up late one evening for a twilight knock. Pro shop was closed. A very helpful member introduced me to the Club President who happened to be in the carpark. He said he was not sure of the policy but said said £15 would do the job and just pay in the bar suggesting if anyone had a problem ust to mention him! Best £15 I spent. Great seaside links course. Hard running fairways, firm well kept greens, blind tee shots and penal fairway bunkers. Definatly worth a visit.

Superb. Had a beautiful day for it too. And luckily minimal wind!! Well worth a visit and £30 twilight is very reasonable for the quality. Great clubhouse too.

On this day we tried to play Liphook, however the course was mobbed and we would have had an hour wait to T off, so we chose Hayling Island instead. The course was in magnificent condition and the greens were excellent although very testing. This is a beautiful links course and worth every penny.

Great course, as previously noted local knowledge or planner/guide essential due to blind drives on occasions. Greens are some of best I've played on; fast, tough and challenging. Keep the ball straight or you will be in trouble in the gorse, which is unforgiving.

A great links course with little wind protection ensuring every round is a challenge.
