Another close to home course that I play fairly often. Has some very big slopes on some holes and greens, plus several ditches to catch you out if you hit a good one too well, underhit or duff one from closer in. Has some fairly tight tee to fairway drives required, or else you are looking in the woods and ditches! My favourite hole is the Par 4 6th teeing off from the highest point of the course down to the green, you can see way down the hill, with great view of Northwood in the distance.

Really enjoyed the course, provided some good challenges, with lots of awkward ditches and well placed bunkers to navigate. Greens were a bit slow, but weather has been poor, so can't imagine this has helped. Very reasonable rate for midweek at £17.00 as well.

Haste Hill Golf Course gives really good value for money. The condition of the course is better now than it has been for a long time and although it can get quite boggy in wet weather when dry it offers challenges to players of all standards and gives lovely views especially from the tee on the 6th hole. If you've not played there before, its well worth a visit.

I visited Haste Hill today and I must say what a lovely place. The course views and the layout is brilliant with plenty of tree's and wildlife. You get the feeling that if this wasn't part of the public sector, the course would be a must visit for anyone. Whilst the layout is superb, bunkers need work, as do greens and the fairways could do with some 'miracle grow'. However this didn't defer from the brilliant layout that rewards the accurate and punishes the wayward shots. At £10 after 3pm it is an absolute steal and presents a good challenge for those who can see past ruggedness.
