Excellent course in very good condition. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens in particular all in good condition. The layout is very varied with some very interesting and also scenic holes. Each hole requires some thinking as there are a number of hazards around. The railway itself adds to the character of the course. Will definitely be back for another visit.

A well kept course that tests your game. Pro shop is small but welcoming staff.

Played this course last week and for October was in very good condition with very good greens Is a mix of parkland and moorland with very good Par 3 holes, none of which are easy Need to think about the course depending on the wind direction New drainage installed since last year has made a big difference Good friendly club house with good menu selection at very good prices Best course played in West Lothian this year

Very interesting course with no two holes the same, including a few risk / reward drivable par 4s. Really enjoyed the par 3s which make good use of the changes in elevation around the course. Despite the recent weather, the greens were in excellent condition throughout. Had breakfast and lunch in the club house - both really nice and excellent value for money.

Played Greenburn many times and though it has had a torrid time with the weather over the last year, the course is in much better condition, particularly the greens which were excellent. There are some new drains on the course but these shouldn't affect play and I'm sure as the summer arrives it will be back to its best. The most varied course that I have played in West Lothian. Two newbies I was with thoroughly enjoyed the course and will be back! The facilities are dated but well maintained and the food is excellent and like the bar, cheap.

Not in the best condition tbh, better than the driving range tho, swampy moorland course, really wet everywhere. Drainage needs addressed. A few nice holes but overall very poor expericence, clubhouse in desperate need off an update / refurb

Lovely coarse when played in average to good conditions. Plenty of variation from steep declines to ponds to streams to narrow fairways to wide fairways it has everything you are looking for a pleasurable day on a nice coarse. Greens have been lovely every time. Food was great I would recommend the soup of the day and anything from the mains section! facilities are clean and had lots of room however situated next to the junior lockers were a little smelly. Bar and catering staff were welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the couple of times I have played there.

If you like playing in swamp-like conditions then this is the course for you. The course was REALLY waterlogged and the greens weren't in the best condition either. Didnt go into the clubhouse so cant give that a rating.

A pleasant course tucked away high up and well outwith hearing of the M8-some really nice holes-moorland-I might have rated it higher but the day I played it they'd just sanded the greens in preparation for winter, it was like the Sahara. Would definitely play it again but with greenfeesavers!
The food was very good.
