Quite busy but lovely course. Was not expecting the last hole, need some real luck. People not upset about letting us play through.

Great course, accuracy is best as course layout can get you in trouble if your wayward off the tee. Greens good condition.

Lovely 9 hole course
Talking to others, this course was one of last to move a couple of holes on to winter greens this year, behind many private courses. And the greens were still superbly tended.Green staff maintain this course very well indeed.
Nice course, where every single flippin hole has a burn on it at some point!

Great public course. Gets a bit busy at the weekends. Lots of challenges. Lots off hazards, particularly that burns seem to cross every fairway

Nice wee Council course

Nice Wee Track
9 holer, 9th probably signature hole, wee par 3 with elevated tee, nothing but trouble between there and the green ;-D Very enjoyable and well looked after. Value round of golf whether you play 9 or 18. Would recommend.Reviewer Rating

I would like to thank the ground staff for all the hard work they are doing on the golf course cutting back all the long grass and between the trees which makes it very difficult to loose a ball

Very good long nine holer, play regular and really enjoy fact that every time I go it still very challenging. Very good to get a long hit and focus in on the short game would recommend to all. Can be a little wet after heavy rain but greens are well looked after.

Staying in the area short holiday so went by Golf shake recommend ations to play the course. Very good customer service on reception. Course was quite wet in places after recent rain and snow but I was impressed with the lay out and is probably the best 9 holer Ive played. Was well impressed with open fairways and greens in good condition. The 9th/18th par 3 is superb finishing hole.Loved it.I would not hesitate to play this course again.Great value.Please keep it in good condition.

Played this course in September. Being a public course, I was amazed at the condition of the course, fantastic. Being a greenkeeper myself and a keen golfer I have played a lot of courses around the lothians, and these were the best greens I have played this season. Greenstaff deserve a lot of credit. ignore reviews from years ago, this is a top 9 hole course.

I've played this course a few times now, and to be honest, It's quite enjoyable. I've only been playing for a couple of years, and for someone at my level it's challenging enough.
The grees could be a little better, but for a quick round before work it pretty much does the job.

This is a tricky 9 holes for any level of golfer. Played it all through the winter and the condition of the course was dreadful. Looking better now, although would help if the greens were rolled once in a while. Lots of greenside bunkers and always a stream running through each hole.

The greens this year are very bumpy and rutted in places. It also tends to hold a lot of water when it rains, and at the tail end of last year, the course was in very poor condition and very muddy. Things have dried out this year and so far the course is playing ok.
At a par of 37 for this 9 hole course, there is only one par 3, but two par 5's.
At under £7 for nine holes, you get what you pay for.

This is a council course set in matured woodland. It has been a good course for me as I have just started to play golf.
The course has plenty of challenges especially the burn running across holes 1,2,3,6 and 7, perfectly positioned to force tactical play depending on how long you can hit.
At present the course looks good and the fairways and greens are in decent condition, it would be a whole lot better if folk repaired the divots and respected it a little more.
An enjoyable challenge.
