Enjoyable round
Despite the heat this was a very enjoyable round at a course with good facilities and helpful staff.Because of drought conditions the fairways were hard and bare in places but the fairways were wide and rough light.. Considering the weather the greens were more than good and the course had a good mix of holes and some good views

Gordenio at South Chesterfield.
The course is very dry and not in the best condition. The greens are ok whilst some bunkers lack sand.Iy is quite hilly but genetally reasonable value for money. A fairer test would be more accurate when tje long dry spell is over and the rains fall again. The pro shop staff were excellent as wrre the bar staff.

Great course, has improved recently
I've played this course lots over the past 10 years. It's always been good value for money. Not ridiculously demanding, but really enjoyable. The greens yesterday were absolutely spot on. Some very fast due to the very dry weather - caught me out a few times!Reviewer Rating
