Good course, greens need a little work. But it's just been taken over from the council so new owners will be starting to put some work into them soon.

Played Well, Still shame no flags although still a great challenging course. Could do with some pennies spending on tee numbers and better directional signs.

Middle of winter but course was in fantastic condition. If you ignore the Mickey Mouse series of 3 par threes in a row the course is decent, although the trees blocking some of the greens make the fairways seem a tad misplaced now that the trees have grown into monsters! Under threat from closure this year has been reprieved until next year so bag a round before it's gone..

The course was in reasonable condition ( probably played a bit early, 9.30, as there was a heavy dew on the first 4 greens) although we had to play off winter mats. The worst thing was that the greens had recently been spiked so putting was a bit of a lottery. Having said all this we enjoyed our round. The course has real character due to its hilly nature.

Nice course on the whole, but has 4 holes that really let it down a touch (5th, 10th, 11th, 15th). They're just impossible to play for one reason or other.
A good cheap knock, mind. Good greens too.

Not bad for a municipal course. Tees could do with a bit of work on them. Watch out for the 5th (nice climb).
