6 pound round
It costs 6 pounds for 18 holes. You aren’t getting the old course but it’s very enjoyable for a knock aboutReviewer Rating

Good when quiet
Great when quiet . It can get too busy and slow with students playing 6 balls with one set of clubs. But it’s a good place to practiceReviewer Rating

Ok for practice
It’s a small course and there are novices there and play is slow , but that’s what it’s for . Beginners. And it’s great to have a course for those people to get into the game.Reviewer Rating

Great value nine-holer
Short, narrow and tricky nine hole pay & play course. If you concentrate on hitting straight, you can score reasonably well. If not you'll rack up a high number. Given the amount of rain in the area & the course's proximity to the River Aire, the greenkeepers do a remarkable job to keep it in such a good state, and at ?6 to go round twice, it's the best value course in Leeds. Bang for buck....
?5 for 2x 9 holes. I'm a regular here as you can beat the price for a good practice. Over all it's not a bad course at all. Well maintained fairways and some of the greens aren't bad. It's no 5* golf course but for ?5 it's fantastic.

Errant shots are severely punished by deep rough, you need to use good course management and keep the ball in play by hitting the fairways.

In fairness for the price you really can't argue, but two points which could do with addressing are - 1) some of the fairways have very poor drainage and tend to get boggy, especially the 8th and 9th holes.
2) There is a large tyre mark on the 9th green possibly from the tractor, but it is large, quite deep and at the front of the green- so watch out for it.
All in all St andrews it is not but then you can hardly complain at a whole round of golf for the price of a couple of pints, which incidently you can have afterwards in the bar onsite !

The course's fairways are maintained very well by the groundsman and are above the standard you would expect for £5. Greens are very spongy and bunkers and fringes sometimes hold puddles but that is simply me being pedantic.
I'd say this course is near perfect for a beginner golfer looking to get into the game (such as myself) and have had very experienced golfers say that even they love to play it to sharpen their iron-play.
Highly Recommended!
