Great course and we'll looked after. Very long for a hi handicapper like myself but it plays really well and reels are in great condition

Great day out
The course off the white tees is long and challenging. The greens are true and roll wellPunishing if you miss the fairway but forgiving for good recovery shots
In York on holiday and will definitely play it again

A truly sensational golf course. Outrageously good value for money. It's long but not ridiculously so. Plenty of trees and you will be punished if you go off the fairways but the overall experience far outweighs any negatives from poor play.

Only played the 9 hole west course but it was a such a joy i did it twice. Turned up on the off chance of playing and was welcomed and looked after by the great staff. A nice test for a medium handicapper and will be back to take on the old foss course. Great value for money and superb conditions. Well done the green keepers. Excellent job.

Just got home from a visit we my 2 golfing buddies travelled up from Castleford we all absolutely loved this course every hole from tee to the hole we are going bck at weekend for 2nd go fantasticgreens tee offs bbeautiful trees everywhere quite tight course but just right bunkers perfectly placed and shaped and tip top condition loved it would recommend this little gem to any one and the price of 18 pounds each fantastic value best 18 pounds ive spent on a round anywhere

Golf course was in excellent condition. Some really challenging holes which made it very interesting. Flat easy walking course in a beautiful city. Well worth a try and great value for money. The staff in the shop were excellent on arrival and a great pint in the bar afterwards.

First club my wife and I have ever joined, 27 hole course, the 9 hole course is interesting and has some good holes and greens,the 18 hole course is superb, tees, fairways and green all a high standard,a credit to the green keepers, very friendly,a great club & course
