Nothing glamorous but worth a visit
Well laid out moorland course and it offers a stern test for the average golfer.It is very flat making it ideal for those who are less able to cope with the hills.
The clubhouse is of a good size and food of a decent standard.
A disappointment would be that a number of the bunkers are a bit short on sand, making it difficult to escape these traps conventionally.
The short game practice area is currently undergoing a makeover so is non-existent at the moment. However, there is a driving net and putting practice green on offer.
In summary, it is a good standard course - well maintained and playable all year round. It may never make the front pages or be the most picturesque of courses but well worth a visit.

Nice course
Friendly course, pro is brilliant and very accommodating.Good buggies, except for lazy players who don't know how to use a bin.
Course in great condition, fairways are still very firm despite the rain.
Greens are very very good.

Lovely friendly course
Lovely friendly course, staff and players.Course is in good condition considering the weather, only 3 temp greens
