Greens in great condition and rough not to long for the wayward shot. Green keepers out today cutting the first cut down and raking bunkers.

What a great course to be local to

Great course, being on the hillside you have to contend with slopes across the fairway, challenging par 3?s and be prepared to donate a ball to the pond on the 15th

pentland course

the course is in great condition for this time of year
October not a temp green in sight yet, mainly temp greens appear when theres been a frost early tee offs are on temps but generally most holes remain open what makes this challenging is the wind aspect on most days and being on a hill never a flat lie the rough is forgiving in some places but a night mare in others the greens are good and challenging

Course condition very good but so many pay and play and lady golfers out, club members playing comeptitions that speed of play was really slow, rather spoiling the day. Etchinghill club should have tees that favour members, then pay and play in my opinion

Well kept course. Lightning fast greens

A very pleasant afternoon out. Quite a physically demanding course with lots of hills to negotiate. I didn't take too kindly to the lady golfer, (presumably a member), who accused myself and my playing partner of slow play. The scorecard predicts a round should be completed in 4 hours and 11 minutes. We completed our round in 3 hours 35 minutes, so we couldn't have been that slow!

Nice course. With it being up on the leas you just have to accept that there are a number of holes where you'll be playing shots standing a little below the ball.
