What the club says: Opened in May 1995, the original 18 hole par 70 course has gained popular reputation among many golfers, and a further nine has been added. The course is laid out across two distinctly different settings, with eighteen holes carved into the hillside overlooking the Elham Valley and the third nine extending over parkland. Etchinghill offers extensive facilities to complement the 27 hole course and particularly welcome families and encourages beginners.

Fun little course, great condition considering the time of year. Pitch mark repairs a problem bit of a shame

Nice layout lovely condition

Played the Leas course 23/6/23 2nd time visited, condition of fairways and greens excellent.Tricky greens but a good test all were immaculate no marks whatsoever. All though a steep climb up the valley this course meanders gently enough to be not to taxing.

Challenging course with lovely views and will be awesome when not suffering from water shortages. When we played it the greens and fairways were rock hard so made the course tough. But huge potential

A nice 9 hole course

This is a nice 9 hole course that serves as a good warm up to the main course at the club. It has some good holes and some interesting tee positions for my left handed drives

Nice Course

Played the Leas course condition was very good excellent greens considering the really poor weather we felt the course held up well. The course is built into a quite steep hillside but is quite sympathetically laid out not to many steep climbs.

The course breaks you in gently with the 1st few holes but soon becomes more tricky and doesn't get any easier. The further you get through the corse the more picturesque it gets. There are some awesome par 3s and some tree lined par 5s. All in all a great challenging course with some impressive views

The greens are almost back to their best after being hollow tynned recently. With the lack of rain the first cut off the fairway is all but dead leading to a lot of balls rolling off into trouble even after a good shot.

Greens are in good condition but being on the side of hills which means that sloping fairways cause balls to run off into trouble
