Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: Opened in May 1995, the original 18 hole par 70 course has gained popular reputation among many golfers, and a further nine has been added. The course is laid out across two distinctly different settings, with eighteen holes carved into the hillside overlooking the Elham Valley and the third nine extending over parkland. Etchinghill offers extensive facilities to complement the 27 hole course and particularly welcome families and encourages beginners.

superb

great value for money
keep out of the rough it eats balls for breakfast, dinner, tea.

great pay and play course
After the ground work that has taken place. The course is in very good condition. It has some accommodating holrs, but also some good testing holes.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 14.9)

Great course and staff
Lovely place to play and quite testing

(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 77 Handicap: 13.4)

great course
Hard course with some narrow fairways and ball either always above or below your feet it seems. Nice quick greens.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 21.8)

Lovely Course, but a tough one to walk
The staff were welcoming and the facilities were very good. The layout of the Leas Course was excellent, but it was a tough course to walk, located on the hillside with some steep evaluations, definitely need to hire a buggy. There were no Stroke Saver booklets for this course which I believe should be available for purchase, for societies or players not having played the course before would have been very helpful.Overall the Golf and day was very enjoyable.

hilly but fantastic condition

(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 60 Handicap: )

Well kept coarse

Great course and facilities
Course was in really good condition, greens fast and fairways cut pretty short for the time of year.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 22.4)

A Great Course in Great Condition
For February the course was in fantastic condition and all tee boxes and greens were in use. From the 1st tee the course looks like it will be a grueling walk but the layout of the holes gradually takes you up to the top before working your way back down. The green fees are very reasonable staff were pleasant and helpful. I will definitely play again when in the area.

Much Improved

Excellent club

Excellent Condition
As throughout the year, the Leas course is in excellent condition. Despite the hot weather, the fairways were never scorched, with a fine cover of grass protecting them. The greens are very consistent and also in great condition.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 20.7)
