What the club says: Opened in May 1995, the original 18 hole par 70 course has gained popular reputation among many golfers, and a further nine has been added. The course is laid out across two distinctly different settings, with eighteen holes carved into the hillside overlooking the Elham Valley and the third nine extending over parkland. Etchinghill offers extensive facilities to complement the 27 hole course and particularly welcome families and encourages beginners.

A hidden gem of a course
Beautiful layout and conditions on a rolling hills golf course. Tricky sloping greens, must stay below the pins. Beautiful view of the Kent Countryside.Reviewer Rating

Very nice.
Plenty of options with two 18 and one 9 hole courses. Decent practice areas too.Course is hilly, but well laid out. Quite narrow in parts.

In great condition
After a LOT of rain over the winter and soft boggy fairways as a result, the course is now beginning to recover. Greens are in great shape, fast and reliable, and the fairways are giving a bit more run.Reviewer Rating

A nice 9 hole course
This is a nice 9 hole course that serves as a good warm up to the main course at the club. It has some good holes and some interesting tee positions for my left handed drivesReviewer Rating

Nice Course
Played the Leas course condition was very good excellent greens considering the really poor weather we felt the course held up well. The course is built into a quite steep hillside but is quite sympathetically laid out not to many steep climbs.Reviewer Rating

great little course
Great shorter course for maybe a beginner or just someone not wanting to play a longer golf course. Challenging in it's own way.Reviewer Rating

Not as good as it could be
Generally good condition, but the tee boxes were disappointing, particularly due to a lack of info regarding the hole to be played. Difficult to find that info on some holes, and on others, simply not in sight!Reviewer Rating

you need your climbing lungs
This course has a relentless climb from the 1st to 9th holes. All greens are pitched severely back to front. Don't go above the pins, which will usually end up with you 3 putting or even worse. There are some very picturesque treelined fairways. Greens are very slippery!
