What the club says: A challenging but picturesque 18-hole golf course in Hertfordshire. A state of the art, 26 bay golf driving range powered by Toptracer Range technology. In addition to that, two practice putting greens and a practice bunker.
With society and corporate golf days also available 7 days a week, our facilities are designed to help everyone enjoy top quality golf and time spent outside.
Furthermore, when you’re not playing golf, you can explore our network of walking trails through 180 acres of tranquil countryside. Lastly, relax in our stylish, Script Restaurant. Enjoy superb casual dining and drinks on the balcony with views across the golf course.
Formerly known as Radlett Park Golf Course, the Hertsmere is fast becoming one of the most accessible, welcoming and exciting golf courses in Hertfordshire.

This really is a nice course to play. A variety of holes, mostly tree lined but also streams, gully’s & ponds. The fairways were holding up well & were firm. If I have one criticism it is that the greens were very very slow especially compared to over courses played recently. I did discover that chemicals had been applied earlier that morning so this may be unfair & if it isn’t then more fool me taking so long to adapt to the pace of them. Enjoy.

Lots of variety
Enjoyable course throughout the round with holes that will both challenge and live in the memory. Despite 3 temporary greens (maintenance ongoing) every effort made by staff to facilitate our play - much appreciated. New clubhouse very impressive too - I?ll be back!Reviewer Rating

Good greens & course in good condition
We played on Sat 15th June in a 4-ball. Weather was poor for this time of year, but the course was in excellent shape. Firm under foot despite the wet. The greens were quick too, and most bunkers are in good condition (one was a bit shallow with sand so could be improved there - but no stones in bunkers, like many other courses)Reviewer Rating

Good to be back
But it’s not quite recovered from the heavy rains of winter & still plenty of casual water on or close to the fairways, bunkers full of water, greens that have been treated & prepped but not quite ready & still slow & uneven roll.All in all it’s a scenic course with good challenging holes but would have preferred to know the current condition & given full charges are levied I’m not sure I wouldn’t have deferred returning if I’d known the condition of the course.

Course getting better, pace of play getting worse
Course conditions have improved enormously over the last few years as well as the new clubhouse and range. Let down my painfully slow pace of play. Takes 6 hours on average to play at weekends. Need to space out tee times by 5 more minutes since it isn't a members course (or have fewer 4 balls)Reviewer Rating

Better each time we return

Very welcoming
We had a great day at Hertsmere. The course is an interesting layout - especially the back 9 - and it is in good condition (although the greens had recently been sanded, which made them very slow.All staff that we met, before and after the round - both golf and hospitality - were incredibly helpful. Service is excellent.

Nice course
Lovely course .very challenging. With doglegs .lots of trees. lovely greens. Got 20 percent of with coupon from face book .bar area and food area is all new.d driving range is fantastic with toptracer bays .Reviewer Rating

Clubhouse was closed which is always a nuisance. The lady in the coffee stall was lovely. Nice course, will definitely play again.

Appalling

Just the range
When did £14 for a hundred range balls become a thing. Nice to have top tracer but this is the priciest range to use in the area. It was vitually empty. Wonder why.Reviewer Rating

Nice course but too expensive

NIce enough
Its a nice course and very good value for £20 after 3pm, I just wish we had been wrned about severe hollow tining which meant putting was a bit of a joke.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 18.5)

Stunning parkland course
Stunning course and very good value for money. Beautiful parkland and very well maintained. Fabulous fairways and slick greens. Only downside being the clubhouse not currently open - due for refurbishment NEXT year..!! Which is a crying shame as it offers great views over a few holes. The 10th & 18th greens and notably the 11th par 3 tee and green over the water.(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 26)

Bad facilities
They are carrying out a club house refurbishment at present and will take up to Christmas to be complete.Unable to visit the 19th hole for after drinks and food .
