Not at its best
Would be a decent course but its let down by its condition.Greens are poor in some places.
Otherwise would offer something decent.

Course was really wet to the point where I lost 5 balls on the fareways in mud, no signage between holes left me lost on 2 occasions and other golfers asking me for directions. Obviously I would know my way around next time but was slightly embarrassing. A map of the course on the scorecard would have made a big difference

Greens need work
Greens need a lot of work, the fairways are too inconsistent.Food is disappointing unless you like rock hard pies and dry sausage baps.

Just ok
The fairways are a bit patchy especially around the greens making thoseLittle chip shots a bit tricky, greens are hard so you have to play short
And let it run on.

Very disappointed with the course. Greens were excellent but other than that very poor. Fairways very long, don't even bother with fairway woods. Weeds and grass growing in bunkers and rakes none existent.
A few months back the course was playing better than ever. After a warm summer the course is in urgent need of some TLC.

This course was quite a drive away for us but we knew that before the start and booked through tee off times, didn't have to wait on any tees which was a bonus, however, the tees were very poor, none of them were well maintained and most had slopes on them, fairways were okay and green okay for the money, major downfall was the public access to this course, we had numerous dogs crossing our holes and owners not a care in the world about it, we had to wait quite a bit of time for these intruders, spoiled what would of been an ok round. Good course for a laugh, not much else.

this course is quite confusing, especially for first time visitors.It would definately benefit from signs being put up informing players where the next tee is. I went with someone who had previously played and even he got a bit confused at times as to where the next hole was.not as challenging as some courses as it is very flat.

after the lockdown its good to get back playing but the course condition is showing the lack of attention this is only to be expected and I'm sure things will improve over time

Nice mature course

Improved
The course has improved no end over the last 2 years. Most fairways and greens in good condition. However, tee boxes on par 3's awful. Bunker on 9th has been 'under repair' for about a year, although nothing has been done on it. Temporary green on the 15th awful, even for a temp. Much improved though.Reviewer Rating
