What the club says: Ellesmere Port Golf Centre, is set in a quiet surrounding close to pretty woodland and is home to a golf course and shop, golf simulator, squash courts, bar and function room. The golf course is of parkland variety and is renowned and respected as an enjoyable challenge for all golfers from beginner to professional.

£10 bargain

course in good condition and it as couple of tricky holes being the 1st 2 and the last 4 will test you

The course has been improved a great deal,rough kept to a minimum.The greens are reduced in size as are the fairways and it can become quite wet. Be careful not to hit the numerous dog walkers.Greenkeepers and staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good cafe.

Would be a decent course but its let down by its condition.Greens are poor in some places.

well kept tree lined course interspersed with ditches - some quite wide - on several holes which require careful planning of club use when approaching.This makes it a challenging course which means quite a variation in scoring.

Greens need work
Greens need a lot of work, the fairways are too inconsistent.Food is disappointing unless you like rock hard pies and dry sausage baps.

Tight challenging course
Lovely parkland course. Fairways in great condition. The course is very tight with not much room for error. Quite challenging but very enjoyable and at ?16 for the round it was decent value for money.Reviewer Rating

Vast improvement of the course.Whilst most fairways have been shortened and narrowed,the rough has been cut to managable levels so that the game is not held up unduly.

Just ok
The fairways are a bit patchy especially around the greens making thoseLittle chip shots a bit tricky, greens are hard so you have to play short
And let it run on.
