Great!
Great course - really interesting. Very wet, but course held up well with standing water only on 1 green (6th). Will definitely return! need to be straight!(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 25.5)

Great track
First time playing Dunham Forest. Nice looking clubhouse, friendly welcome. Good practice facilities, well stocked pro shop. Food and drink all good. Nice par 5 start, tree lined opening few holes, need to be fairly straight off the tee. Opens out a bit on later holes. Greens true, quite quick and some difficult to read making 3 putts a very good possibility if wrong side of the hole. The course is a good walk a few ups and downs towards the end of the round. A very enjoyable day on a lovely testing course, one I will be returning to for sure.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 5.8)

A wet round

LA golf competition
Lovely course in great condition, great facilities and the staff are very friendly. Meet a few members too who were very welcoming of our Golf society. Will definitely visit again.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.7)

In my opinion best course in the North West both for aesthetics and condition. More like a ramble in the Lake District. Wildlife in abundance

One of the best courses in Greater Manchester, a mix of sweeping fairways through mature woodland and nicely designed newer holes. Greens and fairways in excellent condition, there are good deals here if you are flexible when you can play.

Beautiful course set in picturesque forest. Undulating but not to hard to walk round. Will suit all handicappers. Demands accuaracy and good positional play. Greens/Fairways in excellent condition. A pleasure to play

Conformable the best course I've played in the Northwest. Each hole is unique and has it's own challenges. Staff / members were extremely friendly and welcoming. Very keen to play here again.

great course. tree lined fairways, excellent greens, tees and fairways. Some beautiful holes. However, you need to hit straight to enjoy it. Little pricey for a twilight though.

Cheshire / Manchester Gem
Dunham Forest is a true gem in the Cheshire / Greater Manchester area.A warm, welcoming club with fantastic facilities and amenities.
The course is typically in great condition owing to the sand base, allowing for better drainage (which helps in Manchester). Greens are particularly good, and have been known to be dialled up to be firm and fast.
Dunham offers a nice balance between playability and challenge. A higher handicapper can easily go out and enjoy a round without feeling like they got beaten up by the course, while a lower handicap can get a good challenge particularly from the white tees.
All in all a great course and club which I would recommend everyone try.

Fantastic condition
Very well kept course... greens and fairways in too condition considering the rain also .. only 2 temporary greens also .. great layout .. would recommend this course for night the beginner and the seasoned player as it is tough at times .. the cost per round is a little high but worth it.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 18.1)

Course a bit wet in places , but considering its rained the previous 4 days, all greens dry and excellent.
Overall the course was in very good condition.
Food and service excellent, as was the welcome. Our society will play here again. Thanks.

Course was in excellent condition especially the greens which were true and of a good pace. Definitely recommend the course to anyone, fees are expensive but well worth it.

Oh what a luck person I am. I had courtesy of the course owing to playing a team match at this great venue. Yet another person complaining about the weather but its the UK after all. Greens a nice sensible pace. Hitting fairways at a premium. Just miss and the ball will sit down. Only complaint are the newer holes 7-11. Just not bedded in to the same maturity of the other holes. May look to play here again if I get hold of some 2-4-1's.

Played on 2-4-1 vouchers and really enjoyed the quality of the course, tree lined fairways, well bunkered greens, a good challenge. Not the friendliest place off course, but still would return to play again.

This is a great course and should be sought out by anyone in the north west. Plenty of challenging holes in a wonderful woodland location. Good facilities too but it's the course that needs to be played... a real treat.
