In great condition
Play here regularly as a member's guest, the course is probably in the best condition I've seen it, greens recovered fully from treatment about three weeks ago to now run true and quickening. Tees have been in great nick all year. Fairways are pristine as well.Some really testing par 4's, 7th, 14th and 15th. Interesting layout and the pace of play is always pretty decent. Highly recommended.

Improved Course
I have been a member at Ringway for seven years. The course has been improved in the last couple of years by the employment of a new course manager. The greens, approaches and fairways are in excellent condition.Reviewer Rating

Played with society, first time for myself at this course. Very impressed, welcomed on arrival with a great bacon sandwich and the day got better from there. Great course in lovely condition. A very fair but firm test of golf. Thoroughly enjoyable course to play.

Quality track
Some tricky par 4’s, but excellent form greens, lush fairways and decent tees. Great to play, friendly staff and members.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 79 Handicap: 15.4)

Nice course, worth playing
Played Ringway for first time in one of their open events. Friendly welcome by all at club, well organised event. Good breakfast to start the day. Good practice facilities. Course in great condition, greens true if a bit tricky to read. Fairly flat with a few small ups and downs. Longish par 4s. Well worth playing here sometime for sure.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 5.4)

Treated greens a bit disappointing
We play here about four times a year through tee off times. Shame that in August the greens are already treated with drainage scarring and sanding. The rest of the course is in brilliant condition.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.8)

I played Ringway with a member, so at just ?15 this course was an absolute bargain.
The greens were lovely, we had played The Mere in Knutsford two weeks earlier and these greens were light years ahead of The Mere's. In fact, the course as a whole and the experience was head and shoulders above The Mere.
The course is beautiful, I found it relatively tough going (hcp 22), probably due to my handicap and the fact that I have only played 18 full games of golf. But this aside, the fairways were fast and well maintained, the tee boxes were well maintained, bunkers were nice and sandy (no rocks or stones) and the greens were a delight to play on.
On the day, it was a shame about the wind, blustery just doesn't so it justice, never played in such strong winds before. You don't expect to hit a nice straight shot and then watch the ball move 20yds to the right in mid flight. But it was a beautiful sunny day.
By far the best course I have played on to date, a new experience for me; if I lived closer to the course I would be thinking seriously about becoming a member. I don't think I could get bored here.
Great practice greens, a nice chip and putt area, great bar over looking the course, friendly reception in the pro shop and bar.
I would recommend you try and play here, great if you know a member, but I wouldn't begrudge paying ?30 for a round on this course. Not sure what a round costs, but look into into and visit. You'll enjoy it.

Played here on the 26th of March 2017, 12.10 tee. Course was in excellent condition despite the heavy rainfall. A good test of golf. Very helpful staff and Captain and members friendly. A definite return to this course.

Given the amount of rain we'd had recently, the course was in fantastic condition. Could do with a few more signs to point the way to the next hole, but that would be my only small issue. On the whole a great day out playing on a wonderful course, even if my score was terrible.

Stunning course- very challenging but very fair.Played it a number of times and always seem to be the only people playing! Friendly staff in pro shop and bar which served fine and fair priced food. One of Cheshire's best!

Fabulous condition course, good welcome in the pro shop, greens and fairways were excellent, a few challenging holes, especially 12 - 15. Enjoyed it a lot. Bargain £20 through tee off times.

Course in good condition for time of year. Played off a mat on fairways which isnt the best but again for time of year is understandable. Greens fast. My first game of the year so a bit rusty but course is worth playing.
Food afterwards in bar was excellent.

Nice course. Nice and quiet. some nice views of city centre Manchester/Pennines in the distance. Shame ground staff could not provide flags in every hole for us early starters (thank goodness for the brolley !) Today ground staff they had to work on the greens so we were on temproraries (mid August) but the repair work was for the sake of the greens for second half of the year. Received a generous 33% discount! Look forward to going back. Not the most challenging of courses but still pretty good(Round played: Aug 2014 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.9)

Played course may 2014 was in immaculate condition tee boxes, greens perfect. Pathways, practice facilities everything spot on. Was heavy rain night before & in morning And not a mud ball in sight. Greens where fast with subtle turns. Not an overly hard course but can get hanging lies etc - all in an excellent course for all levels of golfer

Fantastic friendly golf club. Clubhouse has all the facilities you would expect of a club of this quality. I can highly recommend the omelette as a pre round meal. Course was in very condition given the recent weather, and playing of mats didn't take away from the round.
