Played on a sunday in late October. Course still in great condition. Not too long and very much risk and reward for longer hitters. Greens were quick and extremely consistent. The members were very welcoming. Course was busy but our 3 ball still got round in just under 3.5 hours. Had a nice bit of food in the clubhouse afterwards, not expensive at all. Would highly recommend this course.

Played the course the day after Andy Murray's win at Wimbledon! Met at the pro shop by a very friendly team who gave us all the information needed about the course and club house. Played on a very hot July day and enjoyed every hole of a wonderful course. 9th is a killer when the temperature is in the 30's!! The odd insect bite did not deter my wife and I and we finished our round with decent scores recorded and memories of wonderful scenery and very mannerly welcoming members. We stopped a short time in the club house for a little refreshment and while the food looked fantastic we did not have time to sample. We will however make sure we do on our return visit. Great course loved every minute of our time their. Thanks to everyone for the welcome and the use of your course.

Lovely course with great views, with fairways and greens in immaculate condition. Would recommend a buggy for the unfit/infirm.

Loved it!
4 of us playing a couple of courses either side of a visit to watch the Open at St Andrews, not too busy, let a couple of 2 balls through as we were a 4 and in no massive rush. Greens were true and maybe a tad slower than Id expect, fairways good, with sand and seed in some divots. The rough was pretty demanding so although open looking in places, the need for a decent tee shot remained. Spray it around and expect a lighter bag at the end of your round!Food and drinks were good and service in the bar very good, members very welcoming.

nice, quick course

Played this a couple of times over last few years and it has improved greatly. Greens were in excellent condition and running fast and true. Some stunning views and a few tough holes. A reasonable length and a good test of golf. Would definately recommend, just avoid the rough is was so long and thick you were very lucky to find your ball if you landed in it.

Loved this course. When I played it today it was very wet underfoot, and two greens were temporary thanks to the weather, but other than that the course was well worth the trip.
It is a "there and back" golf course that seems to be uphill on the way out, and downhill on the way back. There are gorgeous views from most of the holes, but walking down the 15th fairway seems especially picturesque.
Although it is only 5600 yards from the yellows, it is only a par 69 and there are some tough holes on here. For example, the 9th is a 376yd dog leg left with the green high on the hill and a big bunker in front of it.
