A thinking golfers course. Don’t have to be a big hitter. Played two consecutive days and played better on second day after laying up and not using driver all the time.

Stupendous course
A gem within easy reach of Bournemouth centre. Testing but a joy to play and in good condition.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 18.9)

Great round - very quiet out on the course. Greens had been recently dressed which made them slow.

competition course

Very Windy
Really good course. Could probably do with one more par 5 and one more par 3. Each hole varied and interesting elevated tees, up hill drives keeping water in play on many holes. Preferred the back 9 but maybe that's because I was 3 over. Was very windy but added to the challenge. Greens nice and quick.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.1)

Stayed and played on an overnight bed and breakfast stay. Stayed in the imposing 4 bedroom cottage - excellent. Was told by members that during the summer everything is fine but it does get very wet during the winter as we found out on a couple of holes. However, this would not deter us going back.

Very interesting layout and in good condition for April. A nice variety of holes and a nice bar area.

Booked 12.30 tee time through tee of times, told by a mixed foursome we hadn't put our ball in a chute an therefore they would play ahead of us? Explained we'd booked, didn't matter not interested, they finally let us through on hole 4 as one of the ladies had to walk back to the clubhouse for the loo?
In front of them 3 sets of 4 in buggies who wouldn't let people through, couldnt complete the round. Obnoxious rude people who shouldn't be allowed to play the game, have been told by other people this was the case at Dudsbury and it sadly proved true, DONT BOTHER PLAYING THERE!

Three societies 4 four allowed off before us - meant we had a very slow round indeed
