Challenging course
I played at Dudsbury as part of a golf society in September 2018. The course is very picturesque and is a good challenge for any golfer. There is water on 14 holes, 9 of which require you to hit a shot over it! Most of our golfers found it a big challenge. The clubhouse is good and the staff were all very friendly.Reviewer Rating

Great Value Twilight!
Brilliant course. First time playing there and will be returning soon. It has a great layout with a good level of challenge, not ridiculously hard but a lot of shots which made you think and plan carefully. Paid ?20 for a twilight fee, which is great as usually ?45. Only downside, got stuck behind some young members (fourball) who were infuriatingly slow and didnt seem to realise that we (twoball) were waiting at every opportunity. Also great clubhouse which serves Ringwood brewery beer...a big added bonus.Reviewer Rating

Great venue for an overnight stop and two rounds of golf on a challenging course.Hotel was excellent, staff superb, food in Spikes Bistro for breakfast and dinner was very good, golf pro was a great guy, Jack, who looked after us very well. He's a credit to Dudsbury. Overall I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a weekend in lovely countryside and playa good course.Reviewer Rating

A thinking golfers course. Don’t have to be a big hitter. Played two consecutive days and played better on second day after laying up and not using driver all the time.

Stupendous course

Very Windy
Really good course. Could probably do with one more par 5 and one more par 3. Each hole varied and interesting elevated tees, up hill drives keeping water in play on many holes. Preferred the back 9 but maybe that's because I was 3 over. Was very windy but added to the challenge. Greens nice and quick.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.1)

Stayed and played on an overnight bed and breakfast stay. Stayed in the imposing 4 bedroom cottage - excellent. Was told by members that during the summer everything is fine but it does get very wet during the winter as we found out on a couple of holes. However, this would not deter us going back.
