A parkland course with every fairway lined by trees. Course was in excellent condition and has several tricky holes that dog leg.

The course was in great nick. Greens very fast and true. A stiff test from the yellow tees, where a number of par 5's from the white tees revert to very very long par 4's. A big test of golf in a stiff wind.

Great scenery, good layout, greens excellent, lots of bare patches on fairways,lots of areas which should be repaired or marked ground under repair, no point of having rakes in bunkers as nobody seems to use them(greenkeepers included), certainly not worth the money as far as i am concerned. Mike

weather good , course layout excellent , too many tractor marks on the course, bunkers had not been raked for days, wont be back

A very good , challenging course. Downfield is a very well mantained course and i believe it has been used in the past as a qualifying course for someof the big golfing tournaments.

Fantastic golf course. Very good layout with variety of holes testing all parts of the game. Condition of some of the fairways could have been better, appears to have been quite a bit of drainage work going on but the greens were superb
