A nice little 9 hole course but a very strange set up for playing 18 holes. Arrived early (club shop was still closed at 7.45) and set off round the 'front' 9. Finished the 9th to be greeted by at least 3 matches waiting to go off the 1st (our 10th). It seems the tee times seemed to be overlapping which was going to end up with us backing up a fair bit. We did get round the first 9 fairly briskly so maybe we returned for the back 9 'early', but in the end we gave up and left after only going round once.
Some of the fairways and tee boxes criss cross a little meaning you may have to let others play through before taking your shot. The result i
s a course that could get very congested once a few matches are out. Having said that, some of the holes are a good test, and well laid out and the actual course is quite pretty and feels like an oasis and is nicely isolated. Glad we experienced it but wouldn't rush back

A fantastic little course, hilly and challenging but this is what makes it a great course to play. Quite a few of the fairways cross each other, which on a quiet day like I played today is fine but I can imagine this slows play a little on busier days. That said, a uniquely enjoyable parkland course, with amazing views of The North

considering the amount of rain we have had i thought the course was in excellent condition. the greens are quick and true and the fairways a good length. this is a very testing course for high and low handicappers and better than a lot of 18 hole courses i have played

Don\'t be fooled by the last review. Dorking GC is a great 9 hole course that tests your golfing skills without having to hit 300 yd tee shots off every tee. I played there in mid October and found the greens true and well tended given the autumn rains had come with avengence. The fairways were well cut and apart from a few leaves on the course which is unavoidable at this time of year, my playing partner and I thought we had great value for money. Definitely worth the money!!!

Not very well kept, greens and tees terrible. Played 9 holes and that was enough as we asked for a refund due to the condition of the course. Still waiting for that call back from the "management".

Don't be fooled by the two sets of tees, if your thinking about it then think again!

Nice course, though greens were a bit poor. You really need to have your wits about you as some holes criss cross themselves.

One of the best 9 hole courses i've played. All the holes were interesting, testing and of an excellent standard. The cost of the round is excellent value and its a shame this isnt a full 18 hole course. Be warned for the walkers , this is not a flat course!

I have never been attracted by 9 hole courses but having played this I have changed my mind. This is a great course with two sets of tees so it feels like your playing 18 holes.
The members are friendly, the condition of the course is great and the greens are rapid.
The walk is a killer so make sure your fit and try and beg steel or borrow a powercaddy!
