Really enjoyable round for a very reasonable price. Greens and fairways in good condition. As per an increasing amount of courses the bunkers were not great and could do with more sand in. Overall though excellent value for £15

played northop a few times as live local, played on my own this time on a saturday and play was fairly quick, greens in good condition and consistent throughtout, course isnt the best condition ive ever played on but is still looked after, hard back 9 with some challenging holes

Played here for the first time, it was very impressive considering the history. The Club itslef has gone through a takeover and the Membvers that now own/run it have made a very good job of it. The course itself looks great and with a little more work in some areas this will be a superb course
I would recommend anyone to play this course.

Course has been taken over I believe and they are working on the course and bringing it up to a very good condition. Green keepers on it this morning. Great course. Some great holes and all different. Will play again. Keep up the good work.

It's just been took over by three viols members in April. The greens are great and so are the tees and fairways but the bunkers and the general appearance are showing signs of neglect. Given time this course will be back to its former glory but for the price it's well worth a visit.

The course is very well laid out and in fairly good order, with a little more care and attention it could be first class, the club house is showing wear but is an exeptional building, the pro shop is sparce with not a lot on the shelves.

Played the front 9 in torrential rain last month. Tough championship layout with killer USPGA type rough ? Wedge it out ! Greens good, and a nice layout. Must go back and play the back 9 ? Pro shop staff very nice and friendly and knowledgeable too. They can do loft and lie mods also. Has a small driving range to warm up on too ! Clubhouse/Hotel is a bit 20th century brick for me but seemed capable ? Easy to get to as its next to A55 at one of the Flint turn offs. Priced reasonable too ?

excellent course very friendly in the club house and pro shop.greens and fairways in good condition. The course is difficult in parts with some narrow fairways and plenty of hazards.Its suitable for all standard of players.

ps watch out for the expensive houses on the first haha
